Eto'o goes, I can see it happening.
I think he'll be Barca's number 9 come next season, with Hleb in the Lyon shirt. Lyon have already expressed interest in him and Barca could soften the blow fee wise including him. Shame as I would love to see any player of his quality at United. But he seems a bit of a cnut however. So Barca will do nicely.

It's happening.
De Rossi is due a medical at the end of next week. Roma have requested him to be rested from International duties as a serious injury could cost them the presumably huge transfer fee.
Valencia is a no go, Madrid put in a bid of between £19 and £20m which was accepted, Valencia had a verbal agreement with Dave Whelan saying that if he stayed in January and kept Wigan in the Premiership, he would have a say in his transfer come the summer. After stating that Old Trafford was his preference after an enquiry in January, Wigan got in touch with United but negotiations broke down at the first hurdle after United would not go anywhere near the compromise of £17m.
Also, Benzema is our main target for the summer, United were aware since December that Tevez was going to be advised not to sign and his agent/owner has been offering to clubs since then. The original business plan of Jorbachian was to own Tevez for his whole career and loan him out for a season or two at a time but the new 3rd party ruling has made that immpossible so he is now looking to get the highest price possible from one final pay off, something he cannot get with a fee already set at United.
I will give you more heads up to players as I get them. I know you don't trust me as a source yet, but when the De Rossi news starts leaking in the mainstream, and when he eventually signs... I know you will.

De Rossi and Benzema ! Is it safe to say cocks out time?
Nope only Ribery & Benzema will suffice..
add De Rossi and you might have the fans appeased, we would be much more complete.
De Rossi leaving Roma would be very similar to Kaka leaving Milan. Would prefer not to, but if the club needs the money then he'd surely do it. And Roma are supposedly in a lot of financial difficulty.Well considering that De Rossi is hardly likely to ever leave Roma I don't think that will be very feasible.

Oh well, if you say so..
But if Roma ask him to accept a move for the good of the club (which is basically the story that is out there with the Kaka deal), do you think De Rossi would turn around and say no. He's their only player who would bring in serious money, so if they are seriously in the shit it could happen. Why don't you just research what you are asking for? Kaka is not a local of Milan.. He has never said he will support them through thick and thin.. Where as De Rossi is a local and has said those things..
De Rossi in this situation is like Maldini... who IMO will never leave Roma unless he has no choice but to do so..

Karim Benzema Will Not Depart Lyon This Summer – Jean-Michel Aulas
Les Gones’ president has firmly asserted that Benzema will still be plying his trade at the Stade Gerland next season.
Jean-Michel Aulas, president of Olympique Lyonnais, has moved to confirm that star forward Karim Benzema will remain with les Gones until after the 2010 World Cup.
Benzema has been the subject of a great deal of transfer speculation over his relatively short senior career and even stated in March that he would remain with Lyon until the end of the 2009-10 season. Whispers regarding his future noticeably died after such an assertion, but Aulas has moved to confirm that there will no transfer activity this summer regarding the 21-year-old.
“I saw his father and agent at the beginning of the week,” the president told Le Progres. “We spoke a lot and it’s true that there are many clubs after him, but only after the World Cup. We interrogated his agent and we are not under the impression that he will leave in the short term.”
Benzema has been linked with a plethora of European juggernauts, including Manchester United, who will be starting to consider life after Cristiano Ronaldo, and Barcelona, who were reputedly hot on the young forward’s tail during the spring. Meanwhile, Inter are reportedly chasing 'Benzinho' as a potential replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who could move to Barca.
However, Aulas’ recent comments should finally quash any doubts over Benzema’s short-term future.
