Little Luis: I don't deserve this... to go out like this. I was building a team without superstars.
I'm adamant it's not a failure. PSG's claim to fame before they took over was 2 league titles (80's and early 90's) and the fact Ronaldinho had a spell there. They've completely dominated French football and have become one of the top teams in the Champions League it's madness to say otherwise.
Are PSG a failed project?
The fact such a question can seriously be asked says what we need to know.
They failed to emulate Real's 'Galactico' era and now fancy themselves as a red bull knock-off.
Still European bottlers.
The nike michael jordan motif they constantly display on their jerseys is another bizarre attachment.
With actual red bull showing up in Paris, it could be high time for France's genuine clubs to come together and form their own league.
Genuinely confused about what you mean here?Unlike Nice! The success story of France!!
Because they still lost.
He'd have been written off when he couldn't get Hojlund to score 25 league goals after a month in the job.. On the basis of the game they blew Liverpool apart, it was a phenomenal performance from Alison that was the difference, it's not a factor that typically be in consideration throughout most games in a season. Like what Enrique is doing I personally consider him an elite coach, I know Spain won the Euro's after his departure but they did play good football just amassed poor results under his tenure.
He would have have been a good appointment for United, something where there's actually a criteria to build a longer term project on as his football is decisive.
They have radically changed their approach, in a much more sensible way, and there's undeniable promise. They have a talented team playing for each other and Luis Enrique has done a fantastic job so far. If they keep at it, PSG will win the UCL in the coming seasons. Are PSG a failed project?

Liverpool were completely outclassed and got away with murder. Also, there's still a second leg to play.
It's a stylised Eiffel Tower that's been present in their badge since 1972, barring a couple of seasons in the 90's. You really chose the wrong tree to bark up.
Did you fecking read a single word of what I wrote or are you just ranting for the hell of it?psg are the master of 'promising' though usually bottle it in Europe. The second leg promises more of this. As ever.
The Michael Jordan crap alludes to a greatness psg have not earned. It says a lot about him he's okay having his image emblazoned upon such a political club.
Their 'new' is approach, which is backed by Qatar's sovereign wealth fund, consists of still failing in Europe with their 'big boy' chops a mirage.
Might win L1 again, though.

I had to re-read my own comment to see if I didn't post something else.I was going to reply and then I realized he's off on some tangent so I didn't bother

No, you are not.I read all of what you wrote.
We are allowed to dispute your take, you know?
It isn't all 'ranting' when someone dares to contradict you.
Can't keep up with your own posts...
Their 3rd and 4th kit are Jordan brand and not Nike.Isn't that gone for a couple of years now? They surely had the Nike logo yesterday
Why would he comes here ?Such an incredibly fun team to watch. I wonder how long Luis Enrique will stay there and what it would take to tempt him
Why would he comes here ?
They're even more like the Harlem globe trotters than Barcelona and Real though.
They have 600m revenue whilst Rennes revenue is 20 ish...
Even us and Utd would look good playing league 1 opposition nearly every week...
I am afraid that’s less and less true mate.I said nothing about United. Was speaking in general.
But sure, United is still a huge club and the prospect of being the one to revive it might be enticing to some.
I am afraid that’s less and less true mate.
We are a graveyard for players and managers and that’s more and more visible.
If we don’t offer the mega money package we used to, I don’t see why players and managers will come here.
But even Ancelotti went to Everton. So there is hope.
I would like Enrique here by the way. Looks like he is a top coach.
We are spending less money on transfers and wages but we doesn’t seem to have an eye for top talent still.
Dorgu is very average in my opinion. He has physicality and pace but seems to blindly cross everytime.
Fair play, they got way better after getting rid of Mbappe
Turns out you can perhaps build a better team without three forwards who don't do anything if they don't have the ball
