As if he's a goal machine
He's not but he's one of the most likely to score. Finds himself in good positions more often than someone like Mainoo would.

How would you know? It's not like Mainoo's been playing in the 10 position outside of the last gameHe's not but he's one of the most likely to score. Finds himself in good positions more often than someone like Mainoo would.
The enduring myth of the preseason. It's also going to be a tad more difficult since the players we need will be signed in that window themselves, so the new players won't get a preseason even if the rest of the squad does.Yes, don't forget the preseason will change everything. He cant deliver because he came halfway thru the season seemingly so lost because 20 games isn't enough, but 8 preseason games in China will so the trick next season

With all the striker talk, can't help reflecting on Chris Woods numbers this season and thinking about our choice to go with Weghorst.
Premier League proven, even at mid-lower level clubs a better choice and odds on any given day?
Imagine if we could actually draw a few games at homeMateta as well but my conclusion from that is that if you have a decent build up play and decent attack with a big guy upfront he'll get you goals.
Forest have embraced Nuno-ball. They're happy to sit back and counter and pick teams apart. Recall all of the complaints we had under Ole for doing the same in big games. The reality is that people expect United to play a different way from Forest. We can't sit back and be dominated by other teams at home and snatch results on the counter.
If you draw a few at home in a row, you're under pressure as a United manager.
ETH and the support he got to buy his previous own players or those that played against him was unprecedented in top level football. Klopp did not buy a single one of his former players, whereas Fergie I think signed just one. ETH proved to be a terrible, terrible judge of players,
Garnacho has got a conversion rate of 5.9% with 51 shots in the PL. He also shoots the most frequently in our team. A shot every 26mins.
Wish he would focus on improving his finishing and/or decision making.
If we had a good striker he’d have had a good few assists in the last month alone.I have actually seen an improvement in Garnacho since he came back into the team, he now cuts back and across the box far more often.
Why is he playing our new LWB at RWB.
I'm losing faith
And both keeping coming inside or back to avoid using weaker footWhy is Dorgu on the right and Dalot on the left?
I know both can play both sides but Dalot at left wingback isn’t actually very good and surely Dorgu on the left gives us the width and overlapping runs that we’ve lacked?
Come on now. Overall for Lecce he's played the following:Only on here was it ever speculated he'd be LWB, he was RW at his previous club.
If we bought him for left back, why did we sign another left back that joins soon?Come on now. Overall for Lecce he's played the following:
It's only this season he's played RW a bit more:
- LB: 24
- RW: 11
- LM: 9
- LW: 5
- RB: 3
It's not exactly outrageous to think we bought him for the left when that's where we don't have anyone.
- RW: 10
- LB: 7
- LM: 3
- RB: 2
- LW: 1
If we bought him for left back, why did we sign another left back that joins soon?
Okay, but it seems this lad can play both so he’s put him there for reason hasn’t he?Because we needed 2 left backs due to Malacia leaving and Shaw being permanently injured
The left back that’s a child from South America right? If we bought him for left back, why did we sign another left back that joins soon?
Because we don't have a left back now? And the one who's joining in the summer is just 18?If we bought him for left back, why did we sign another left back that joins soon?
Looks like a grown man to meThe left back that’s a child from South America right?
Whatever Dorgu offers he clearly feels it will free Amad, but everyone in here knows better apparentlyOnly thing i can think is he wants Dorgu and Amad to operate on the same side

I'm really confused by some of the basic decisions he makes. Dalot and Dorgu playing on the wrong sides means nearly every pass from them is going backwards and any time we go beyond the halfway line it's extremely predictable what each of them will do. No width.
Agreed boring shit football every week with less attacking playersI like the guy, he speaks well and would probably be great to have a drink or two down the pub with.
His system, however, is complete dog shit.
He must be an absolute shite motivator.
