Ange Postecoglou would make a brilliant England manager
Oh don't worry, team Jude PR overdrive advert is on TV.
Well well Gareth…….are you gonna be bold and make a change at half time?
Think that's much of what most people would like to see.Like to see…
Take off Gallagher
Move Bellingham to Gallagher spot
Foden to play No10
Gordon to left wing
Take off Saka for Palmer
Paint runs moreWatching England is like watching paint dry honestly.
It is not a big issue if he plays as an inverted left - back stay in the middle during attack, and the left winger, well, stay on the left.I never want to see a right footer at left-back again. The last 12 months have traumatised me.
Not taking Grealish was a huge blunder
Phillips trusts himself to make the kind of line breaking passes Rice doesn't. Gallagher is a poor passer in general and of the defenders the best is Trippier but he has poor angles(and they don't go to him much anyways)Genuine question, isn't Kalvin Philips a defensive minded player? Why does Southgate say he's missing a player like that?
Isn't 100m Declan Rice supposed to be that fantastic DM?Someone to control the midfield and let others play.
It's nonsense because Phillips is crap but a fantastic DM would be a massive boon to this team.
I’d accept Bellingham deeper with Gordon or Eze on the left but I still think Mainoo is a more natural deep midfielder and can help to beat the press at times and drive through midfield. Every single time Gallagher has tried to look forward he’s lost the bloody ball. It’s horrific. Mainoo is getting underrated the more this tournament goes on for some reason, despite Utd fans watching him play in the same disjointed football all season and doing well.I don't think they need Kobbie. They need a new shape. Foden and Bellingham in front of Rice with two wide players would work much better.

Aside from falling, nothing of note.Hojlund doing anything for those suffering through England?

Van Gaal united or Netherlands?
Have you been listening in on the Slovenian half-time talk?45 minutes closer to a clean sheet.
Football is running away from homeIt really doesn't appear that football's going home.
Grealish especially didn't play much during the season he would have been fresh and with a point to prove. Instead he went to Ibiza to get hammered (or wherever)Leaving him and Rashford at home, not taking either, no matter how they played this season, was mental.
Jude's in dire form. Sub him for Palmer. Maybe Foden for Gordon or Watkins as well, though Foden's been decent in the first half
This gave me trauma.I dont think Dalot has been so bad that is would cauze trauma?

Not convinced, he's got Anthony Gordon and Palmer sat on their arses and they were making goal contributions for fun all season.Leaving him and Rashford at home, not taking either, no matter how they played this season, was mental.
The fact Grealish created a goal when he came on in just before he decided not to take him.Leaving him and Rashford at home, not taking either, no matter how they played this season, was mental.
I think the press (and now social media) slaughter post-tournament is etched into the psyches of the players. None want to be the one hung, drawn and quartered. It is and it's crippling. Ruins so many good England teams. It's mad.
