Southgate will tell them its all going to plan , more of the same in the second half as we are topping the group.
 
Foden has been the most likely but he’s got to play more centrally and get an outlet with some pace on the left. He moves the opposition around much better than Bellingham who was awful first half.

Is it that bad? In that case, England needs to be better to not concede because they will if they keep doing that in box.
 
Jude's in dire form. Sub him for Palmer. Maybe Foden for Gordon or Watkins as well, though Foden's been decent in the first half

I genuinely think it’s our game plan.

Southgate probably writes on the whiteboard in big letters ‘don’t get beat and you CANNOT lose’ and then keeps tapping it with the pen and looking at the players like, ‘eh, think about it’.
 
It’s absolutely insane that Gallagher is playing for England. He’s absolutely awful. Chelsea fans can defend him all they want but he’s just so clearly levels below the required level. Get Mainoo on ffs. He will also be on the periphery but at least he actually offers you the required quality and ability.
 
It's the same issues they've had in every game. Rice/Gallagher/any of the back 4 aren't natural progressors of the ball, and then you have Jude/Kane/Foden who all want the ball played into their feet in those tight half spaces. Leads to England having to slowly plod their way into any attack and doing so without consistent width or any sort of threat of stretching the play.

Get Gallagher/Jude/Walker off, Bring on Gordon/Wharton or Mainoo/ and TAA on the right and let Foden operate centrally.
 
I was so elated last night when Italy equalised - I thought "great, we now just need England to win and we're through".

I forgot that it's Southgate's England.

Yep. Not all these players are shit. These are CL, European Golden Boot, POTY, Treble, PL winners throughout the whole team. The management is dreadful.

Reminds me of Man Utd 23/24. But with a tad of LVG 15/16 mixed in.
 
Foden the best of a bad lot in the ttacking 4 and he's only putting in a 4/10. Kane has been fecking terrible this tournie, resorting to stupid shots with low probability, that one he took on his left foot when he could have rolled back for Bellingham was awfully greedy. Also caught sleeping on a couple of through balls.

Rice terrible again, Guehi has been literally the only positive in the first 2.5 games.

We're in big trouble unless we sort our shit out.
 
Uninspiring but functional. Which is a decent improvement to be fair. Its fairly common for teams to struggle through the groups and grow into the tournament maybe England will last long enough for Shaw and Gordon and a couple of other changes to improve you more.

I don't think they need Kobbie. They need a new shape. Foden and Bellingham in front of Rice with two wide players would work much better.
 
I never want to see a right footer at left-back again. The last 12 months have traumatised me.

Kane, Saka, Foden, and Bellingham have had a combined output of 116 goals and 48 assists this season.

It takes some special skill to make them all look collectively toothless against Slovenia.
 
Thinking about calling Polizei and report Stojkovic for potentially having a C4 in his bag or some shit, he needs to be removed from the stadium.
 
It’s kinda funny watching these ads juxtaposed against that performance and England in this tournament, like Jude Bellingham portrayed as a deity after being anonymous and then Chilwell and Rashford being in ads.
