Another great Christmas for Bolton fans! They top the table going into the new year once again. SSL has continued to be superb for them and tops the scoring charts. New signing Vanja Susnic is a regular at LB, although he's yet to register an assist. CB Regis Ngoma will miss the next 3 weeks with a twisted ankle. Bolton have scored by far the most goals in the league as well, with Okubu (8 goals 6 assists) becoming a top AI signing, and Juric too getting 8 in all comps. They are also comfortable in the CL, but were eliminated in the 4th round of the Carabao Cup.

Sheffield Utd lead the chasing pack. They're always there or thereabouts. Nilson is achieving ratings I don't think I've seen in the PL til now. Almost at an 8 average which is unheard of. Midfielder Checa is also one of the most valuable players in the league, and he has 4 goals and 11 assists so far from CM. 21yo Diggory Auclair has also been very good for them, scoring 13 goals in all comps so far. With Dalipi, him and Nilson they're always going to be dangerous. New signing Percival has played most games but is currently out with a twisted ankle. Sheff Utd are all good in the CL and have also reached the Carabao SF where they play Nottingham Forest.

Sunderland sit in third. Wilbur and Griffiths continue to be the new Sesko-Kroupi. Sesko barely plays these days but does still have 6 goals. Kroupi has 8. That's a fearsome 4 strikers they've got though, harking back to the Fergie days of Cole/Yorke/Ole/Teddy. New signing Rudel hasn't played that much but is one for the future. AI signing Beldarrain has slotted in straight away though, and is seen as one of the best young CBs around. Might be why they have conceded the least goals so far. Sunderland are top of the CL group phase, but lost to Spurs on pens in the Carabao QF.

Derby take up that final CL spot. After the machine that is Nilson, their players occupy the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best performers in the league. New signing Seong Min is the best of those three, followed by Mustafi and Bellingham. Endrick has 10 goals in all comps for them, followed by Seong and Mustafi with 9 and 8 respectively. Stankovic is also in the race for the golden glove. Derby also going smoothly in the CL, and are in the Carabao SF, where they play Spurs.

I used to cheer for Bolton, but not anymore now that they're doing well. Hate 'em

Winter Window time! Usually not much movement here.

Sheffield Utd spent £142m on Thomas Lemoine. Lemoine is considered one of the best young wingers in the game. At 24yo his best years are ahead of him. They also brought in 26yo CB Jorge for 19m, and Antti Maki a 29yo LB for 21m.

Sunderland bought nobody, but did sell Paulo Navarro for 11.75m

Derby did no business in Jan. Neither did Bolton.

2038 Carabao Cup Final

It's Sheffield Utd vs Derby for the final Carabao Cup of the experiment!

Dalipi clearly a big game player. With the addition of Lemoine to him, Nilson and Auclair there could be a domination coming. Luckily for everyone else the experiment ends soon.

Think Kompany might be a little OP.
Yeah. I was a bit worried that our players were far too suited for 4-2-3-1 so nearly opted for Arteta instead but then Simon reminded me despite his last job, how Kompany is a trophy magnet.

It's just funny that he's winning stuff while playing a 4-4-2.

Mike Bassetting his way through life. Think he did alright with City when you consider what has happened since he left.

He was always out of range when we asked and then we got Rose.
Did consider Vardy for a moment in the summer, who is playing a 442.

I know I said the last one was GW 34 but it was actually GW35 because 35 games played afterwards. Silly me.

GW 36 Results

Utd game irrelevant. Bolton have their game in hand tomorrow against @BD and @sebsheep
