So if Netanyahu rejects it, I don't see any other way that Biden will start taking action to stop the genocide as he sees it as a real risk on his election (not that he cares about palestinians)
Netanyahu doesn't have to reject it, if he has ways to sabotage it in other ways. He's done it before, for example by suggesting that Israel will keep hounding Hamas's leaders no matter what just when a previous deal seemed possible.

Palestinians has been licking their wounds since 1948. It's not only about the Israelis. Some people would rather die standing than to live begging on their knees in humiliation.
I don't disagree. Just pointing out why the idea that israelis will agree to a Palestenian State now of all times is far fetched.

Still think it's a decent first step towards ending the escalation and suffering, and a first step was always going to be insufficient to both parties' desires. Without an agreed ceasefire, this just goes on forever.

Shouldn't he have highlighted the latest news? That proposition could be israeli and come for opposition's leaders?
If it were an Israeli proposal without Netanyahu's approval, it would likely come from the Mossad.

I don't really see it as an Israeli proposal, and it doesn't differ much from what Hamas agreed to in May or wanted in February. Biden's speech was great for muddying the waters to the state of negotiations for the last few months.

Netnayanhu again making a complete fool out of Biden. Quite insane that US, a singular superpower in the world by quite a margin, keeps getting clowned by a much smaller country, no matter the reasons behind it.

Oh! I see what you mean. Thanks

This possibility makes sense that could happen

Biden still going with his stunt judging from one of his last tweets and that he has the proposal tweet pinned.

It’s the United States of Israel.

The mask has dropped and the world can see exactly the extent of Zionist influence on the US and how Imperialism and Colonialism is still rife in this day and age.

Forget Black Lives Matter. The slogan for much of the west is ‘Only White Lives Matter.’

I posted on my Instagram story Hala Madrid and a load of Dortmund screenshots of their sponsorship deal, plus them supporting Israel in December in a tweet. I got the most bizarre response from Jewish lad I used to go school with.

‘the same metal that made the bullets who shot the jihadists in Germany yesterday’

Then several clown emojis.

I decided to hide future stories from him and not get involved in any insta argument. Some people are just too far gone.

probably wise not to get involved in Insta spats, and much better to use your time on more constructive things.

This genocide has taught us many things, but one of the main ones is which people around us and in the media spotlight have humanity and a soul, and who is heartless.

Palestine is the litmus test for this in my opinion.

Why not just block? I've cut off many people over this issue, don't care how long I've known them for.

Biggest political party in Sweden is calling for a complete pause in trade with Israel until the war is stopped. Not that it is going to happen but this a a big shift in the political debate.

Interesting to hear. Thank you for the update. Israel should stop its offensive for more than one reason.

It is not about complete trade pause. Actually it’s the EU-Israel agreement that they want paused. (Thai would lead to massive obstacles for current trade with Israel) and to be fair all the opposition parties (including the liberal Centerpartiet) signed off on this.

Unfortunately there is no way Germany or Hungary (Orban) would agree to this. Nor would Frau Genocide Ursula Von der Leyen…

Confusion seems to be around whether the next phase of the 3-phase proposal can be vetoed/re-negotiated or whether the only condition is the implementation of the previous phase.
