He is selfish, but can't even blame him since he has no one to play with. You can't find Hojlund even from TV broadcast, let alone in the crowd dribbling. And Antony came on and all he did was pass to Garnacho to dribble past players.

Still very young, but his engine will make him good player, even if he isn't the best talent of all times.

People are going to be harsh on him, and yes his final product was poor. But the management of him has been atrocious. He's obviously an attack t threat but he should have been subbed or not started. He needs rest.
Yeah, predictable comments as always on young talent.

Got into good positions countless times today and unfortunately, he was pretty much wasteful during every moment.

Someone on here said Madueke had zero IQ but I don't see the difference between him and Garnacho. Actually, I'd argue that Madueke has better end product.

Will get criticism but “give Garnacho the ball and hope he does something (while everyone else watches)” is a tough strategy against Arsenals defence, his mentality is great

Looked really tired. Can't really blame him for not passing at times because Hojlund never gets into good positions or loses his marker.

He's not a guaranteed starter next season hopefully but far from a problem for us. Only 19 as well.

Honestly thought he played well. Was our ONLY threat. Destroyed Ben White multiple times. His end product was really off though. Will improve with experience.

I fully agree, he was literally the only one about to do something offensively. If Bruno is out, who's gonna score or create the goals if not for him

Y'all are strange. He was a young player who looked like he was the best chance for us to get a goal.

Yeah wasteful today but he was up against White and Saliba and we were playing with McT at #10 instead of Bruno so no chance of combination play.

He'll be fine and I'm glad we have him.

Yup. The final ball wasn't really there. But you could see that he'd be quite a player if and when it does come together.

He had the ball about 20 times in that second half and put in maybe 2-3 good crosses.

Hojlund deserves criticism but Garnacho's lack of a final ball and decision making is not on him.

I don’t rate him and that’s not based on this match alone. The guy has been praised to high heavens like he’s the second coming of Ronaldo. In reality he neither has the technical ability nor has the iq. On top of that he’s selfish as hell.
I'm old enough to remember a lot of people saying the same thing about Ronaldo in his first few seasons. The rest is history. Give the guy a break, he's 19, been one of our best players and has no role model to look up to right now, that plays for us.

He tried and looked a threat quality wise he was poor. Just head down and ran, no thoughts other than cut inside and shoot. Crossing and decision making in the final third was abysmal.

It's fatigue. He looked much sharper earlier in the season.

This kid would be great if we were a well coached team. Unfortunately we rely on him to be our creator and his decision making is still raw.

Why isn’t he being given the excuses Hojlund is getting? He is an academy product, two years younger and imo had a decent enough game and season. Don’t forget he was up against the best defensive team and while nothing came off, he was probably our best threat.

He really shouldn't be given all the pressure of being the creative outlet of a big club like Man Utd at his age. I blame that on the club. Towards the end, Antony was making 2 yard passes to him in hopes he'll do something. Who is the 100m signing?

Nope, nothing has changed.

He was sharper but still very inconsistent with his decision making. However, as he was scoring or assisting, we all looked past it.

He's young and I'm not writing him off at all, unlike some have with Hojlund but let's not pretend Garnacho's final third choices isn't quite baffling.

It was a strange performance given that he did really well to get himself into good positions by beating his man quite often but as others have said his final product after that was nothing short of abysmal, and seeing how no one else except for Amad really did anything offensively it's like Garnacho somehow managed to be both our best and worst attacker simultaneously.

He beat his markers most of the times (top quality adversaries in such regard). He ended his attemps badly most of the times. So let's summarize in that HE TRIED.

PD:
. the lack of end product was a mix bag, few bodies there to receive the ball, yet mostly some bad crosses or trying to score from difficult positions, too much urge can end badly.
. I didn't get whay for moents was give the ball to Garnacho to do sthg. very little help and attemps from the rest in teh offensive department (bar at moments Dalot and Diallo)

If you think Garnacho possesses the same talent and ability as young Ronaldo then you have a dodgy judgement.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
On the ball his performances haven't really been much different than Rashford for most of the season, bar a bit of a patch in the middle of the season where he was genuinely good. Obviously has more effort and works a lot harder defensively though so he's been better overall, but I really don't think he's been as good as many make out.

I really do hope the next manager and coaching team actually implements some proper attacking interplay and build-up, and hopefully Garnacho develops his all-round game.

Even today, during one of his worst games this season, he still skinned Ben White at least 3 times. I can't recall Rashford successfully dribbling past his man on more than one occasion in a game all season.

Looking over my shoulder.
In all honesty, if any, and I mean any winger had one of our fullbacks on toast like Garnacho did White, we would be either singing his praises or bashing our own fullback. His end product was meh, but a couple of his crosses were quite good.

He has nowhere to aim as well, there's no running pattern or movement. There's no way he's going to be consistent with his crossing if Hojlund is a statue and people are just waiting for passes in and around the box.

He is really good at going past players. Also we had no real 10 today and Rasmus is not that great at getting into good positions so overall I don’t blame him. Still very rough but surely our biggest talent.

There's two things that I've observed about him :-

1. He has a tendency to run with his head down, attempt to beat the defender and make space on his left foot to cross the ball whether or not there is anyone to receive the ball.
2. If he doesn't look to beat someone, has has two pass habits............sideways and/or backwards.

Of all the wide players in the league, especially for someone so direct in the dribble, he is just as allergic as Antony when it comes to forward progressive passes. He settles too often to lay it back off to the CM or CB. He rarely ever tries to play off a central player (ala Martial) and meet a return pass on the other side.

He has to develop the courage to start looking for forward passes. This is exactly why Hojlund is struggling in part.

Best outfield player but showed not only his strengths but also his weaknesses. He worked hard running with the ball and beating players opening up a few chances to shoot or cross and then his shooting and crossing were poor. Cant fault the effort and it looked like if something was going to happen for us he would be involved, but overall his crossing and shooting were really bad today.

Had a bad game but 2nd half had the beating of White at least, but just no end product. Bright future with him but needs to just keep the hunger and not go the route where he thinks he's a star.

He should be playing 47 games really, so this is likely the consequence. He's making the chances at least, he can hone his end product we'll be in business.
