If one more game goes that a lot of us have big interest in, say Chelsea v Villa, and leaves us with say 5-6 players, then free hit to get Son, Ronaldo, Triple arse v Norwich etc could be genius.

Yes it is more if I go for Man United players and our game is gone on monday it will hurt.
I guess I will have a strong bench though and hopefully the early games will be played.

The other point re: selling Salah is that Liverpool could presumably now have a Brentford & Leeds double in GW22 while Salah is away?

I am so confused at this point. I really don't have the time to work out all of the permutations and combinations with ACON, DGW 22, Free hit this week because no Pool etc. etc.
I am just planning to Free Hit GW 22 and get the DGW.

The more I look at it, I think the Free Hit is always going to be better value when looking at DGW. I think you just go for it if you can field at least 9, resist the temptation. So many games piling up in the new year.
If you've already used one then you can't use the bonus one until GW20.
If you haven't used it then it will be a popular play this week depending on your squad.
I think I might free hit, but the problem is I am one transfer down and need hits for the doubles instead.

As someone said, a refreshed Salah vs Leicester defense....they have conceded the most in the top 12 teams while Pool have scored the most.

Can't find anything om Crellin's twitter but Gray at 5.6 seems like a great punt for fixtures and double gw 22..
If... if he has a dgw 22. So does anyone know whether the postponed Everton vs Leicester game would like go into gw22 or would some other game of Leicester go into gw22? (leaving everton with only 1 game in gw22). Is there any order in the postponements in which gets played first?

I'm thinking of Raphinha to Gray myself. Think he could be a good asset.
My current plan is to do similar in Salah + Laca > Son + Ronaldo (-4).
I wouldn't worry about the -4 as so many will be taking a hit or using a FH this week. And (in theory) you're bringing in the two key players for the coming weeks.
Downside is that Antonio has good fixtures as well but given his poor form I think it's justified.
I can't decide if I should sell Salah or not. He's got BLANK, Leicester, Chelsea and then AFCON.

You must have kept a tonne of money spare to do that double. In fairness I'd have had the same sort of dough if I'd not done the Watkins in transfer last week. Doh.

That was my first mis-read. But clearly there's 2 weeks until the Chelsea game, so he has 2 free transfers!
As someone who was on Gray for ages where he was OK at best. Then switched to Townsend after clocking his 3 goals in 4 games run (then did nothing for months), I'd be wary of any Everton!
If the AFCON goes ahead I think he’s a comfortable sell. The biggest risk would be if you sell him now and then the tournament gets postponed, as you’d want him back in immediately so would have burned two transfers, lost a lot of value and missed him as a captaincy option vs Leicester.
