Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Blast from the past. Some top notch acting and some great writing. Only wish if this scene included Jaimie and little finger just for their reaction when Jeoffrey taunted Tywinn. Brilliant scene.

I miss Tyrion and Tywin. :(

Just a warning, I opened Youtube and there were several videos with spoilers for tonight right there in the titles, from channels that usually don't do spoilers.

I don't believe he's such a joyless unfeeling cnut in real life.

No not like that in real life  But he tends to command the room as a person and his speech is the same. He's not putting on any accents or anything.

I find him extremely commanding both on and off screen.

That just makes me sad.

I never understood unbridled nerd rage but I have a feeling I'm going to after watching the last two episodes.

Yeah, he reminds me of the late Christopher Lee who was similar. Both class actors.

S4 is fergie leaving
S5 is Moyes taking over

S5 hardhome is just amazing (that's evras goal in Munich)
Forgot how long the cersei walk of shame goes on for. It was so damn long. Also dany riding off on dragon was a brilliant spectacle but funny how she just left her people there.

I'm gonna laugh if
gendry makes drogon armour as a thank you to dany and she comes flying on drogon just taking harpoons and no effect

Hardhomme was pretty much the apex of the show. The story had diverged enough but the plot was still strong and that was the first look at how hopeless the people were against the wights.

We're all too busy studying "The Art of War" so we can criticize D&D after the episode.

Nerds. I've already made my mind up, any good scenes will be because of the director and all poor scenes will be because of rubbish writing from Double D.

Why is this thread dead? No build up before the last battle of the series?

I was wondering the same, myself...

Agreed! Feckin' Newtons needed to penetrate the hull of a ship and whatnot! BTW, @padr81 congrats on the title today! As hard as it is to admit, you've got to be proud tonight!

Guesses / predictions

deaths

Cersei
Greyworm
Mountain
Hound
Euron

@Sylar not opening that in case you're doing a Robin.
Haha no timelines
Just guesses on deaths for the episode
Somehow the deaths part was entered in the Spoiler tag rather than outside

Also whilst watching the previous episodes and seasons, they make such a big deal about how many valerian swords there are , how unique they are and of course demonstrate it

For them to not even see action Vs white walkers is damn disappointing

And bran is such a dick given he didn't listen to his mum, what he did to original 3ER , what he did to hodor in the past , and how he treated Meera.

I’m looking forward to this one just because it looks like something big is going to happen.

Emilia Clarke said this was the big episode of the season.

it would be funny it the mountain tripped and fell over a wall and died or something

Aye, it'd be shit fan service if they had it, they will though as its something they'll think is awesome, like with the undead polar bear shit.

I'd love it if it was an Indiana Jones scene where Mountain just one taps Hound into oblivion.

Anyone reckon we'll get Cleganebowl? The zombie Mountain hasn't done all of that much since his intro other than mope about Lukaku style.

Almost certain to get Cleganebowl with Arya possibly assisting I would say.

Would be fecking hilarious if Arya tries to take on the Mountain and he just boots her over the castle walls.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
