I agree. I've never took to thee character.
Yeah I feel like this too. Ramsey was brilliant, a proper cnut but at the same time he was funny. The actor did brilliantly in the role.
Euron seems like he is over acted and poorly written. Hate him, seems ridiculously powerful too. Suddenly appears with hundreds of ships in record time, has no problems finding anyone at any time.
Too many characters have been overlevelled for this, blonde dragon lady who's name I can't spell, bran, Euron.
Euron - as mentioned above.
Blonde - dragons, can't be burnt, everyone follows and loves her, always gets out of impossible situations.
Bran - he sees everything and ruins it for everyone else. feck off bran and just watch the show without interfering, like the rest of us.
I know it's a fantasy show but these just really piss me off.
Also, watched ep with night king killing dragon with spear the other night, why didn't he kill the one which everyone was boarding? Made no sense, take a tough shot at a dragon flying, or hit the stationary one and let everyone get slaughtered by your zombie horde?

Regarding Euron, I was expecting a Theon and Yara plot this season where they both take him out but that didn't happen. Having read his character in the books, he is really really dark. He does seem very reduced in the show but I think it's probably due to the lack of time and perhaps he should have been introduced earlier. He could have easily been what Ramsay and Joffrey were to the show.

There was a time when this show had 8 to 10 characters who were interesting to watch. Now the only character I am interested is Jaimie Lannister. I seriously hope he has a fitting end and not die looking like a fool like they did with stannis. I also found it cringey when the producers after the 3rd episode said we wanted to make Jon look cool, I am like when did this show become about making one personality look cool.
ive been watching a couple of youtube videos with theories and after each one i think "hmm, thats decent" and then i realize that the people who made the videos thought about this a million times more than the people who made the show

It’s not though. Not mentioned in the OP either. I was under the impression the no book talk rule was to prevent spoilers. But the books haven’t been relevant to the show since season 6 at the latest, there’s nothing from them can spoil anything in the show at this stage.
That's what I thought. Book talk years ago 99% meant spoilers. Now they mean nothing. I take it then even saying a character has brown hair in the book but black on the show is a warning then because it's "book talk"
Yeah I've found it very difficult to connect with the character I have to say. I don't blame the actor necessarily, I think due to the series now being rushed a long and character development really only being left to the main protagonists now others like Euron are suffering.

It might be. The reason why I said that there might be another dragon is after watching the preview for EP5 is that Euron is looking at the sky a little surprised and you hear a dragon screech. It can’t be Drogon (her only one left) or it might be but not sure why he’d be looking a little stunned at seeing Drogon when he knows, that’s the last dragon left to kill. It’s got to be something that he wasn’t expecting. Unless he has seen an aeroplane that the editors have forgotten to edit out.

At this point nobody outside making and broadcasting the show knows. There are leaks, but from production and not from the final cut episodes. The show went so far as to film false scenes and endings to make leaks ambiguous, and up to the point he final episodes leak or are broadcast, the uncertainty will hold up.

Been rewatching season four the last couple of weeks to take the sour taste of season eight out of my mind.
I’d forgotten just how brilliant the show was back then. Arya and Bran had personalities instead of their deadpan nature of S7 and S8, Tywin, Ramsey and Roose were incredible villains, the episode where the wildlings attack Castle Black is one of the best hours of TV I’ve ever seen - makes the Battle of Winterfell even more of a joke.
Season five next. I remember finding it boring until the incredible last two episodes (can’t wait to rewatch Hardhome).

Blast from the past. Some top notch acting and some great writing. Only wish if this scene included Jaimie and little finger just for their reaction when Jeoffrey taunted Tywinn. Brilliant scene.
Back when we had antagonists who were people with agencies and conflicts, instead of mustachio-twirling villains sharing smirks over their latest evil plan.

Charles Dance was incredible. Had a total command of the screen. The best actor in the show by a distance. This scene by here is also very good with him in. The way he makes Joffrey looks so small is brilliant:
Terrific actor but he's basically just playing himself. The mannerism, body language and delivery isn't far off from how he is in real life.
Not sure about that tbh. But either way, his screen presence was amazing. Had an authority about him that made you sit up and listen.
I don't believe he's such a joyless unfeeling cnut in real life.
