Marcelo is basically prime age and physical condition, just a year older in terms of experience. Modric has never relied on pace and was just the best player on the pitch by far in the final. Ronaldo, well... I would never underestimate him. The team will be the same next season, more or less - plus reinforcements.

I read somewhere that Florentino thought of Raúl, who just got the title (as well as Alonso, who will train children in Valdebebas) but apparently would not be available until 2019. Actually as many posters say, training now Madrid is very dangerous. The comparisons will be constant and may be distrustful players. He will have to be very diplomatic and populist.
Pochettino is smart and I think he would manage the situation, always with the need of immediate results.

Can’t see Poch going this summer not after signing the new deal just days ago. He’s got the new Spurs stadium this season and probably a half decent budget to spend, I can see him staying.
I don't think he'll go for a few reasons
- Loyalty to his own Spurs project, he just signed a new contract and I think he wants to try and make Spurs take that next step.
- Tactically (and this is more on Perez) Poch create teams who press from the front, with a great team ethos, young players with energy. This is the exact opposite of Madrid, Ronaldo will not do it, Benzema can't do it and so on.
- This lead to the point that I doubt Real would let him create a project he would be comfortable with. They want success now while Poch is more of a project manager. If Madrid decided this was the time to massively overhaul their squad and give poch time and money to create a new team then I'm sure he would be interested if he is given assurances. But what is more likely is that players would be bought over his head and he would be expected to manage expensive egos with the pressure of winning.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the timing is right for this one. It may well be in the future, but as for now I don't see it happening.

They're not the same beast of a team though.
They were hammered by Bayern over two legs but got lucky. Very lucky against Juventus and were getting bummed by Liverpool's press before they dropped the heads when Salah went off.

If Poch leaves for Real this summer, you can pretty much guarantee that Levy will refuse to sanction any deal that leads to one of his players leaving the club. Losing his manager at a pivotal stage in the clubs history would be bad enough, throw in the departures of Kane, Eriksen, Alli etc would turn a bad summer in to a catastrophic one. Levy is no fool.

Just as I thought, I think he would have went if he had not signed, but he doesn't seem like a person to disrespect or turn away from an agreement. He has more integrity than that.

Nonsense again, of course they are going to be bombarded by FC Bayern when they are leading - just like Real would do the same if Bayern were leading, it's basic top team vs. top team just like it would have been for every other top team meeting Bayern/Real. Very lucky against Juventus? They scored three goals away and took the home game for granted before showing great resilience when they got a perfectly good penalty to win the game. You don't win the CL by being brilliant every game, you need luck and experience as well.
It part of why he can get the most out of players and has managed to keep our best players in contract. He believes in what he is doing and in turn the players are believing in him.
I don't think it's a matter of integrity in special case scenarios such as this. An offer from arguably the biggest club in the world is something too good to pass up when you're managing what is really an upper B class club in comparison.
It's the same in any job field even if you want to take it away from football. An accountant say getting promoted to a new role at a medium sized firm wouldn't be looked bad upon if he goes on to quit after being head hunted for a much more higher paying job at a top 4 firm. Its not about lack of integrity when something massive falls on your lap. It's just bad luck about the circumstances but no one in their right mind would blame the man for going.

I think the sounding out of Poch may be being done with whoever replaces their next appointment in mind.
Given how short notice this all seems, a Wenger/LVG type appointment seems more likely. Poch would be the ideal replacement after any of them with some of the bigger stars potentially cleared out.

I don't think he would be looked bad upon, I'm saying I don't think it would sit well with himself.
Wenger would be a rather good appointment if they can't get Poch and deem Conte incompatible with certain players featuring in the roster. He'd have respect, could handle the dressing room and his tactics might even work with that level of players.
Now Perez, go get Klopp.
I can’t see Perez going for him at this stage, but I’d quite like Wenger to win a La Liga with Real and have one last crack at the CL.
