Shearer is talking way too much sense, don't know how the Sun accepted that.

@Sparky Rhiwabon is this the right one?
What is it?

Yes thanks. That is the UK Borders and Immigration office in Liverpool (not the passport office, which is round the corner) where I think he'll go for his work permit. I've marked the public "walk in off the street" entrance and (more likely) the underground car park entrance which then has an internal lift up to the offices. Just in case anyone is in the area!

The Alexis Sanchez transfer thread on bluemoon is twice as long as ours here.

Imagine what they've had to go through!
Ours is only 11 days old.

They were ******* over him for months
I was expecting more quotes from there in the Bluemoon thread, been a bit disappointing, would've been great entertainment while waiting 48 hoursX4

United wouldn't dare put a bid in. Could you imagine our reaction if they ballsed this up for us. Every player they go for will be reciprocated. They cannot afford to get into a pissing war with City.
Too many flappers on here. Only place he is coming is here.
United linked? Now I'm finally confident this will get done in the next few days. You can date "United put in last ditch bid" all the way back to the David Silva signing. It's the unofficial confirmation for me that it's done.
I need to stop reading their thread and do some fecking work...

Aw, he has earned our appreciation - him and Keano were the steely athleticism in that SAF side
Carrick and Valencia have earned our appreciation too,are they legends? Come on this isnt even a debate. Paul ince is no Manchester United legend

What i did to post the pic, from my ipad, was to press the picture, and copy the link from there, not the url on the top.
Then enter it in the box i got from the button netx to smiley.

I'd say Carrick is - Valencia maybe not, but a great servant for the club. Both have been important players for us in a very successful period in the Club's history.

A link to that thread, at approximately the time when Di Marzio tweeted about our interest, would make for interesting reading!
Let me guess that was going from Alexis what a player to we don‘t need him anyway

"Sanchez wants to come here to win the league and work with Pep.

He won't achieve either of those goals at United.

They have zero chance of signing him over us."

I'm off work sick, which will probably save me my job. I'd imagine the constant checking for confirmation would get me in trouble and my wild celebrations followed by dramatically unzipping would be the final straw.

BlueMoon's Sanchez thread, 3380 pages in, the day our interested was revealed.

Enjoy!
Delicious.

Pretty sure that never happened. Didn't we bid for David Silva the year before? The year City got him, it was City and Chelsea who bid IIRC.

I rang in sick and took the day off so because I knew I'd get nothing done. This transfer saga has brought out a whole new level of muppetry in me!!
Hope your feeling better soon mate.

As if he would fecked pep over
t'll be to pacify their fan base that they are trying for good players, and if unsuccessful "we made you pay more" line will be rolled out. Yeah right. Mikitarayan in exchange LOL. Why would anyone touch him?!
They have to look at who they target.. That winger at Inter, Lucas Moura, these are standard players that they are having to bid in the region of £40m to get. Laughable.
Pep and Sanchez would appear to be very close and the reason why Sanchez is so desperate to come to us.

If he went to the rags their whole relationship would be in tatters, it isn't going to happen so no need to flap.
They are getting giddy on the caf :)

hate to say it but they've actually not been in meltdown mode over there.
Understandable given they're miles clear at the top.

Anyone gotten to the part where they realise that he's going to United for real?
