I feel like this could be a similar to Tevez's stint at Juventus. Then again, that might just be because I find them quite similar as players.

Some Arsenal supporters don't see this transfer happening. At all.

Is the original video of this kicking about? Not one filmed off a screen?

I have video editing software, and a fair amount of time on my hands.

Will make do with this one if need be.

I'd listen to that man

How much shit can Keown spout. Remarkable. From his comments you'd get the feeling Mickhi is a hamster. He must be nurtured and cared for .

Not to mention him saying to Jose if he should be in management.

Jesus..

The guy is just an attention seeker trying to stay relevant, people should take no notice of him.

On Bluemoon calling us a desperation and says we have no strategic plan. :nono::lol:

Having a giant hole on your right wing and then signing arguably the best player in the league to fill it is evidence of having no strategy?

They're right. Perhaps we should spend £27m on a full back only to play Fabian Delph there instead.

Harsh on @Ban, to be fair.

He was trying to act the big man last week saying he used to wait for SAF down the tunnel at the end of a game to see if he was complaining and he would have him if he did. Rio asked him how many times did you confront him, Keown said none.

W@nker of the highest standard. Talks s*it and looks like an ape

Just tried to catch up by reading two pages of this thread. One bloke said he was looking forward to seeing his friend's granddaughter (followed by a drool smiley). Another was claiming you need identification to buy a football shirt. And then someone started ranting about the 'remainers' for some odd reason, totally unprovoked. At that point I decided it was best to skip to the latest page. For the sanity of every muppet in here I really hope this deal is wrapped up this evening.

Best post I've read today.

I wouldn't take what Known is saying seriously. Just a couple of weeks ago he was claiming that Mourinho has lost the dressing room. His hatred for Mourinho is clear just like many of his fellow pundits.

Anyone seen the rest of Keown's quotes from his Daily Mail piece? Bitter, deluded idiot:

Keown has also given his thoughts on Henrikh Mkhitaryan's prospects at the Emirates, if his switch to the capital goes ahead.

He said: 'He will be a better player at Arsenal than he has been at Manchester United.

'Mkhitaryan needs to be nurtured and cared for. When I watched United recently, there were two players who were clearly not thriving: Luke Shaw, and Mkhitaryan.

'You could see in Mkhitaryan’s body language that there was a fear in his play. Every time he got something wrong you could see Jose Mourinho bristling on the sidelines.

'If Mourinho does not think that his players are unaware of what he is doing on the touchline then he should not be in management.

Says serial winning manager and SAF wrangler Martin Keown.

I'm assuming since its now 3pm (UK time) that we've missed the 48hr deadline to have him registered in time for the match against Burnley?

I'm sitting at uni trying to read a book, but I'm physically unable to read for more than one minute without checking the caf. Help

He's just jealous of his opposable thumbs

World class : Pogba, DDG, Sanchez.
Elite : Lukaku, Martial, Valencia, Matic.

Pogba is world-class in a 3 man midfield - in a 2 man midfield, he is not. Or to put it another way - he is world-class when he has the ball, he is not when the opponent is attacking us. Several times against Stoke, they could waltz past our midfield simply because Pogba wasn't there. That is why we should use play 3 man in midfield against the really strong sides.

Right, I think he's gonna be a brilliant player for you guys, no doubt about that at all, but as i honestly cant be bothered to read close to 400 pages to check, are there nobody reacting to the insane ammount of money we are talking about for someone who's contract expires in 6 months?
Also, was wondering, which of the young players will he take the place from on the pitch? will he be a second striker alongside Lukaku or play on the wing?

Contract - Seeing as there is no transfer fee. The contract isnt as big an issue as it would have been.
Position - Mata currently plays right wing for us. Straight swap there I reckon. Mata plays with a lot of freedom in that position, I dont see why Alexis wouldn't either.

Had to go back and check the absolutely arbitrary segue to 'remainers'. You know, some people clearly just have a pre-existing bias that they're absolutely dying to talk about :lol::lol:

Reminds me of seeing someone on Facebook this week who managed to slam 'liberals' in a critique of the new Star Trek.

People are strange.

What the feck is he talking about? Shaw has done well recently.

Yeah, when Messi doesn't have the ball he's shite, too.
