Hey guys! Im from Chile and this could be a dream for me and for others ManUtd fans, Alexis is a really hardworker player and cant understand why the people blame on him because he left Arsenal. He really wants to play in a competitive team with more ambitious and im pretty sure will fit amazingly with the actual squad.

As a fan for United first i think this is a incredible business for the club and let me to tell you something. In the Udinese's days, Alexis says that his dream was play on Manchester United... Im sure if he comes over City isn't only for the money is for the history and the greatness behind the club. I hope Alexis boost the rest of the season of the team :D

The media here are pretty sure he will be announced in the next 24 hours.
Welcome :)

Hopefully we’ll be saying that to Alexis soon :D

I know this is not done yet but, hypothetically, where would Sanchez play? And therefore, I guess, who would lose out in the main?

Alright, I'm aboard the Sanchez train.

Come on Alexis.

Buzzing for this now. Really think he will make a difference to that right hand side.

He is a grafter, which we havent really had since Tevez

I'm gonna wait for Di Marzio to confirm. Seems to be only journalist worth their salt, he broke this one as well.

at this point, i trust him more than the club's official twitter page
Wasn’t it Guardian that broke this news? Or did they just pick this one from Di Marzio? One way or another, he’s is really the only journo out there who consistently gets it right.

This place would erupt. Hopefully we'll get a statement saying its agreed subject to medical before that!
No chance, they'll have marketing execs working out how best they can generate as much hype and by extension, money out of it. Expect a pogba/zlatan style video with him walking out of the shadows and saying something cheesy. Expect seeing a lot of #7's with captions over the next few days as well.

No 10 probably with Lingard moving to right wing. Or on the right with licence to roam like Mata.
Probably the left or right, cutting in or crossing where possible. Wouldn't make much sense to play him behind the striker if it means pushing Lingard out of the team when we've finally found his position. Unless the aim is to push the likes of Rashford and Martial to improve with competition.

He's always played on the left for Arsenal, or central - but even then he tends to the left. I guess he could play in the right, but would that be getting the best out of him?
Judging by his statistics and rumors, it seems that he's just as capable of playing on the right as on the left to be honest. It'd be great for the team if we could just chuck him there and forget about our right wing issues. I'm not sure whether or not he would accept playing on the right though.

It's not like he never played on the right for Arsenal, plus he played on the right at Barca. His final season there was very good.

Have we got another Agent Silvestre we can send to Arsenal as a token of our appreciation?

Nope played on the right to, this has already been discussed.

Any combination of martial, rashford, lukaku and Sanchez will work because they can all play to a high enough standard across the front (except maybe lukaku), so we can have a fluid, interchanging attack.
