You think we'd get Arsenal to pay for Mkhi?

I reckon the final outcome will be £30m plus Mkhi.
That starts pushing the deal up to silly prices though. I can't see that.

Mhky is a £25m-30m player himself!

I'm very excited about the transfer

Never thought he would join us, with City and Pep also interested.

Reports suggest we are ready to offer £30m and include Mkhi in the deal IIRC?
I think it is more a 30m offer, with us being open to sell Mhiky to them (thus, Mourinho's quotes about every player having a price).

I’m missing something here- why all the talk about tapping up and negotiations in the last 6 months? Aren’t we paying for him and have therefore just followed normal practice?

Because Souness is a bitter idiot. He is on his last 6 months of contract, so we can tap him up as much as we want.

Hahaha mine threw my phone out into the snow as I haven't stood up from it or footy all day....
I'm of and on the phone and PC all day. My missus recognized the page and asked why am I there. I needed to explain what's happening. :D
We're watching a series now but I grab my phone every 5 minutes.

Hahaha.. Yes having three children and doing this on a weekend just seems to drive them crazy.
I know... Mines like what’s so important? I had to explain to her the ins and outs of a transfer - how were getting one of the best players from one of our rivals and under the noses of another rival. She hates football and knows feck all about it. It was a difficult task.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
I love how we are all sitting refreshing this thread and our woman are beside us all fuming and giving off
Mine's making a roast, which I'll sit down and enjoy while watching highlights of citeh's unbeaten run collapsing into ruins.

I'm still convinced he's citeh bound, but I'm totally in this.

José's comments drew me in, and I admit that I'm desperate for him in that Utd 7 shirt.

Pretty sure that's a liable comment. United could pursue legal action. You can't suggest the only possible explanation for a player changing his mind is that the club have tapped him up even though his agent is free to talk to literally any club in the world on his behalf.
Unless I missed something, he said "if". If is a hypothetical. It isn't an accusation. I'm not defending the guy, but the hysterics are a bit much.

If you don't understand what I mean, what is the difference between these two statements.

Are you a martian? You are a martian.

If United tapped him up, is different than United tapped him up. Now, the intent can absolutely be to make people think that United tapped him up, but from a purely legal point of view, he hasn't accused anyone.

Half of those clips aren't very impressive. And we're going to give this cnut 400k per week. Don't our negotiators watch the newest YouTube highlights before sitting down?

Nah, I was pessimistic but I think we have it in the bag. Relax and enjoy the ride now.

I'm gonna wait for Di Marzio to confirm. Seems to be only journalist worth their salt, he broke this one as well.

at this point, i trust him more than the club's official twitter page

Clever! You can build on that and tell her tomorrow that it has gotten worse. And when he's signed you'll just tell you're feeling better all of a sudden. Genius.

One thing I don't like about him, which is a problem many of our players have, is he likes to hang on to the ball for quite a while and does lose it quite often. That being said, I want him I want him iwanthimiwanthim
Same problem Miki has. But unlike Miki, Sanchez brings a whole range of other benefits with his game. He's a dead ball specialist, an ideal player to break down tight defences, he dribbles very well, his close control is wonderful and he has a knack for goals. Perhaps more importantly, he is mentally strong unlike Miki and he hates losing.
