Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

Think di marzio is the most sane person ever in transfer sagas, he must be barraged with abuse and questions over transfers all day.

This is the series of events i think that has happened-
  • City obviously want him, planned to take him in summer, Moved plans to now.
  • Agents ask same fee they were asking for in summer, along with arsenal asking a fee of upto 35 million + a replacement
  • City dont agree to pay the sums for now, offer their own contract +sign on fees
  • United were always interested, must have been told by agents he is goin to city, united kept up to date with story
  • After city's apparent refusal to match Sanchez demands, United were offered the player either to shock city into paying more or for really a transfer
  • United need sanchez more than city, Hence offer better deal, which is being negotiated as of now.
  • No fee agreed with Arsenal, neither do arse have a replacement so they do not sell yet.
Now the major thing is, what will sanchez chose?, we could be played as fools by Sanchez's agents to get us interested, while fecking us over when city raise their offer Or a little possibility he may actually want to come.

I think it is the former, i also think most of the cafe thinks it is the former,i do think we are not stupid for trying, we may end up failing, but shows the intent. I do think interest is genuine, so is our offer to take him away,But we have been done over by ronaldo, cesc, Bale, Grizzy etc on too many occasions that we are rightly very cautious.
Isn't that what's being widely reported?

still waiting for the Joses 5:30 press conference today

do you reckon he will spill the beans ?

@M18CTID - what’s the feeling on this one with the ITK’s on Bluemoon?

From what i can gather now Jesus is back in 2 weeks its put the transfer of Sanchez back till the Summer. By all accounts too his demands have suddenly increased, money wise. Looking like with wages, agent fee, signing on fee. Arsenals fee. This is now well over a £120 million outlay, for someone who's 30 in less than 12 months thats some serious coin. I think you've offered all of that and he's still hoping we do the same. I think we've walked away.

It appears not, Arsenal fans over on Arsenal Mania want us to pay 20 million + Martial for him. Or city on a free.

But the sane ones concede that they have little bargaining position. Not sure they like Mkhi that much, personally, I think he could come good for them and might suit them better than us (Keown really rates him).

Maybe part of this whole saga is our alleged plans to go for Ozil, Sanchez might fancy keeping that relationship going, they tend to always pass to each other :D

He'll say he doens't talk about another club's player and then it won't be spoken of again.

Well, it is that or Welbeck, and Ozil and Sanchez can at least shoot without falling over.

He'll say that and the journalists will then ask him about it over and over. Karen will ask if they have any questions about the game. They'll then ask about Conte. Jose will bat that question away too and ask why they don't wanna talk about the game. They'll then write that Jose was confrontational and left without giving real answers.

Eh?
You were happy to pay 60m pounds for him in the summer and would've probably given him a 250k contract for 5 years which means 120m and I haven't even added the agent and signing on fees. What has changed so dramatically that you are not willing to do the same right now?

Probably not. In the past when we've been really close to signing a player Fergie has mentioned a thing or two. Recall he did when we were close to Lucas Moura.

What arsenal fans think about it? Unlike city or liverpool fans they can be objective
They wanted Martial in return on their Reddit, also I think they'd rather sell to City than ourselves.

Not sure who this Yousha Bassa guy is or his quoted source. Let's say this is true. Surely then this would mean that he would have just been on the fringes and surplus to requirements given the number of alternatives they already have that are in form as well.

Despite the complete garbage about the "United for the money" rubbish surely knowing that he is likely to be kept out of the squad for periods would mean he would only be going there for the money while at United he would be a guaranteed starter and quite possible they "star" at #7?

The fact that they're walking the league without him?

:lol: That is the lowest of the low for poor Mhki
Its probably the best news to come out of this transfer saga that Mkhi isnt in Jose future plans anymore and should start looking for a new club in the summer.

absolute joke hes on 200k a week.

12th of January is way too early for all of this. Can't take it seriously, to be honest.

They don’t need him. We do.

Same on Arsenal Mania, they were giddy with excitement over getting Martial for some bizarre reason.
