Sam Lee (who's as reliable as they come with regards to City) is still saying that City think they're getting him. When City fans reminded him that this deal had similarities to what happened with Dani Alves, Lee reassured them and said that his sources feel that it's not the same scenario.
The bloke who looks like a crazy chicken and assistant to Allardyce?

So once we sign Ozil and Sanchez, how will we work Dybala and Greizman into the formation? :D

343?

Griezman Lukaku Sanchez
Pogba ozil Matic dybala
lindelof Bailly Jones
DDG

Hope the DailyMail are reading this and steal it as their next "article".

Please tell me we're not actually offering 25m AND Mkhi? Surely it must be either/or.

A friend of mine is a steward in first class on Virgin rail and they have just had a very interesting passenger just take their seat to travel from London to Manchester 1st class...details to follow

He has just got back to me now - he noticed the celebrity and after a while plucked up the courage to ask him if he had any news on the situation.

Bernie Clifton is not sure where Sanchez is going but he is very excited about it too and has said that if we sign him up, he will strut around Piccadilly strapped into his Ostrich costume shouting "Sanchez Oooh! Ozil next!"

Won't get sucked in. Won't get excited until there's something concrete in our favour.

Oh thank completely forgot about him, mourinho really needs to start sending our guys to guardiola's doctors he seems to get people out for months up and running in a few weeks we get players players out for a week staying injured for months.

Why on earth would City be quibbling over a few million quid. They've never shown this kind of frugality before.
It'll be the wages. £300k / week is more than anyone in their first team (I think it's Yaya and Aguero on £220k / week [officially, not under the table UAE]), so giving Alexis £300k / week means having to give parity to De Bruyne, Aguero, Silva & Sterling. It would add another £50m / year onto the wage bill.

We're already close to £300k with Pogba and Lukaku.

He'll probably be announced by MCFC very soon and then we'll all move onto the Griezmann train, which already departed last Summer, but we are still chasing it down the tracks.
I do hope we sign Sanchez; i doubt it very much, though.

It is funny because it is( could be) true.

How long is a train journey from London to Manchester, 3 hours?

Not having this. Probably just a Javier Hernandez smokescreen. It's probably who's on that Virgin Train.

If it was Sanchez, there'd be no train. Sanchez would be on the Woodycopter as we speak.

So much trains to catch in next 6 months. Griezmann, bale, dybala....

This post deserves more recognition :lol:

Utd have offered 25m plus Mkhi for Sanchez but Arsenal have instead demanded 20m cash for the player.
Neither are willing to budge.
