It's brilliant though, I wouldn't want it any other way.
Well doneIs this just fantasy
Goals were offside
No escape from reality
Open your eyes look up to the sky and see
I'm just a poor coach, I need sympathy
Because players easy come, easy go
Good bye Co-tin-yo
Any way the wind blows matters to me, to meeee...

They have no leg to stand on after doing same to southampton and Lepzig. Its like karma came back to haunt them. The lack of Pool fans coming in to defend him is deafening.
Think they are realising he's a bit of a cretin

We're watching you lot go on about it with amusement. I also don't defend trees, or butterflies, or the fact that the sun shines.![]()
Why bother to get into the same old argument once again? You don't like him, we do, nuff said. The lack of Pool fans coming in to defend him is deafening.

Any mention of the long ball tactics for their third goal?
Why bother to get into the same old argument once again? You don't like him, we do, nuff said.
Their second goal wasn't offside, their third was though. If true, the reference is indeed odd and makes him look a bit obsessed. It's not an argument. I'm just wondering if you see his reference to last season again as a tad odd.
I know you don't see any bad in the man but surely it's not normal..

I don't really care what he says in press conferences though, managers say daft things all the time to suit their own agenda and Klopp is certainly no exception to that. I like his style though (the answer to "do you remember your first time?" for example), but the most important thing is how he gets us to play on the field, not what he says off of it.
This thread has however become a bit of a knee-jerk one to bash him with whatever he's said or done, and he gets more ridiculed in here than that his team's performances are actually discussed, so that's why I don't bother to read this one sometimes.
Because he's lovable and quirky and runs down the touch lineTwo years into his tenure now. 100 Premier League games. If Pep, Mourinho, Wenger, Pellegrini, etc had similar records they'd have been hounded into oblivion by the press. So why not Klopp?

I do the same, I've got no problem to admit he says daft things from time to time and contradicts himself as well, but he's no angel either and anyone who thinks he is, is fooling himself. I meant what I said though, it's the on field performances that count for me. Of course I don't want Klopp to be an outright cnut as he represents our club, which is why I'd never want Mourinho at Liverpool (personal taste, really dislike him), but I don't care if he says weird things from time to time if we perform on the field. But sure yeah, what can we do as fans when he makes a reference to the United "offside" goal once again? Sigh, and move on. I don't feel the need to come in here and defend him for it since I think it's an unnecessary thing to bring up again.Agree with both. This place could do with more discussion about his style.
Surely you don't really believe this? Managers are often defined by what they say off the pitch as much as they work on it. Mourinho would still be at Chelsea if he hadn't gone on that self-destructing tirade of press conferences in that season, Conte would still have the services of Costa, and the whole concept of mind-games wouldn't exist, forget someone like Fergie being adept at them and using them to bully teams even before we'd played them.
I know it's convenient to ignore what Klopp says in the hope that you'll continue to have the same sort of success as last year (if you consider CL places a success, that is) on the pitch, but don't you think it's a huge part of being a manager at a top club - the way they carry themselves off it? And doesn't it bother you that your manager is so obsessed with United and makes silly points and weird preferences at times?
I mean, we own up to our managers' stuff - LVG and the whole 'horny' stuff, Mourinho and his mad 'eggs' analogy. Why don't you do the same?

Clever from Klopp. Obviously knows you can buy time with their fans by talking about us negatively.

Because after 26 years without winning the title, and years without winning anything at all, expectations aren't as high for Liverpool as they are for the bigger clubs in the league. Two years into his tenure now. 100 Premier League games. If Pep, Mourinho, Wenger, Pellegrini, etc had similar records they'd have been hounded into oblivion by the press. So why not Klopp?
FantasticI hope we beat them 1-0, with our goal coming in the 8th minute of 2 minutes of stoppage time, and the goal is scored by Pogba dabbing in an offside position, slapping the ball towards the goal, it bouncing off a beach ball, and being stopped on the line, only for the ref to award it anyway.
