This isn't the twitter thread, but it's still a transfer forum thread which means the debate should be relevant to news of some kind. That the transfer isn't as likely as it was, is news, but 5+ pages of people crying about it, is not news. It's a moaning echo chamber.

When there is some good news you get 50+ pages about crazy muppets celebrating, posting songs, posting gifs, posting formations, posting smileys... That is also not relevant to the news but I never hear this amount of moaning about it.

This used to be the case, we moved on won things and the player would regret it, these days we will probably be pestering him every year.
