Total Anti-Climax!
Absolute shite performance from us. Liverpool players run into the ground for their manager half our players couldn't even be bothered.
Shocking subs and tactics from Mourinho today aswell. How we didn't target their young fullback, Martial didn't do it enough but I am sure Rashford would have.
Also I know Valencia has been playing well but honestly my 6 year old son has a better cross than him, its so frustrating watching him unable to beat the first defender with his crosses or just float them in.
Completely agree. Sometimes the wide man is only as good as the full back behind him.This. The issues with Martial this season are heavily linked to the non existent combinations with a left back of quality to assist his own game. Very annoying fans or manager seemingly not recognising that. In Fairness Mou might be planning to address that sooner rather than later.
This.Vital that we didn't lose that. Losing our unbeaten run and letting Liverpool go 8 points ahead of us, staying 5 points within Chelsea would have been gutting.
Liverpool played well, they had a game plan and it worked. They could easily have won the match and it wouldn't have been undeserved. First half they had us ragged, we couldn't cope with the pressing, but even then we could easily have got a goal or two. Second-half we were better overall but it wasn't pretty, we had to dig deep for the point. Not long ago we would have capitulated in a game like that.
So I'm feeling relief more than anything after that.
We don't come to play, we're a long ball team, etc. Just very disingenuous. Mourinho would be hammered if he said something similarWhat did he say?
Sense is that we were absolute shite? Thats not sense mate.Congratulations on being the first United fan speaking sense .
Rashford would have torn our young right back a new one. Ive said just before about this. Jose fecked up. End off . Who is in charge of man marking on corners ? If its the manager then Jose fecked up again.

No, we were very poor in the first part of the season. It takes time to bring a team together under a new manager with new players and system. You should know, Liverpool finished 8th last season under Klopp. And good luck next year when you have Europe to deal with.I know its the pain of the post match and all, i.e. now 4 points behind top 4 when it could so easily have been 2. And now not even a 'winning run' (tm) to fall back on. But, since Spurs, this is the first time you came up against a proper team. Not Hull. Still inferior players to the likes of Ibra and Mikhy, but a proper team nevertheless. If you can't see what went wrong today (other than the opposition was shit/lucky/Pogba had a mare/etc) then I don't think you will until you're sitting in 6th on the last game of the season wondering how the feck you didn't crack top 4 at least.
The one thing that will really help is if for once some of you examine the top 6 table with impartiality and see who's on top (Liverpool) and who's rock bottom (Utd). And then ask why. If the answers don't contain lucky/shite/Pogba then that's a first step.
Sense is that we were absolute shite? Thats not sense mate.
Shite is over egging it, but they looked nothing like title winners.
We played okay. Definitely didn't deserve less than a draw. Good thing is the momentum is maintained and over the next 4 games the teams above us all play each other whilst we can continue our current run.
So not all big games then.We should have always won this game.
And what does it matter we have a run of games coming up ? Yes the teams above us are playing eachother but at some point we will have to play them aswell. Today was a golden opportunity for us to really get back in the running for top 4, taking away points from Liverpool and capitalising on city dropping points. Having a draw is just unacceptable, especially because Liverpool was missing Mane, Matip and Clyne and were playing very poor.
This team has bottled it in all the big games. Only good results was Tottenham win and taking a point away on Anfield.
Two weeks ago Pogba was a hero on here. Okay he let the occasion get the better of him but he's still 23. Even Ronaldo has been guilty of that or trying too hard at times. Maybe we do need another top class central midfielder now to freshen things up a bit.
More so than us tho right as we had full strength team basically and also at home....

If you don't think, or even concede that we are improving, then you must be a WUM because all evidence points to better results as the season has gone on.
Anyone have a video of Mourinho and KlippityKlopp going at it during the Herrera \ Firminho situation?
@GifLord ?
It wasn't a must win. You are the best team against the top 6. Every team has struggled against you. You've had your manager for way longer than us who has been able to implement his philosophy into the team far more than Mourinho has. Don't kid yourself.I accept you're improving. Hell you won 9 on the bounce (was it?). What I'm saying is some players thougth that was enough to make them the best team in the premiership. It isn't/wasn't. You were just beating some fodder (other than Spurs) that wouldn't harrass your midfield. You are improving and yes its Mourinho's first season so it takes time but once some of the fans realise that they are not one of the best sides in the country yet (first season, new players, etc) then it may help.
Today was a MUST WIN game for Utd (not Liverpool). You've been sprinting to catch up after early slip ups in a marathon where the other top four are just jogging along, and occasionally tripping. You simply can't sprint a whole marathon it will catch up with you, specially when Europe restarts. But without winning today you need to keep spriting and, in fact, sprint even harder. #Unsustainable.

Fair enough then. If your argument is that we won't win the league, then I am in complete agreement. Winning every match is always unsustainable, especially in England.I accept you're improving. Talk about exaggerating....We bottled it versus Arsenal, We bottled it versus City and we bottled it today.
I'd say we bottled it against Chelsea aswell but the truth is we actually got hammered in that one and had no chance of getting anything out of that.
Against top sides Mourinho has been a complete failure. He can do the job against lower league sides but when it is a big game he is worhtless.
He hasn't had that much time yet to put his stamp on the squad. This is always how Mourinho was, get a draw against the top teams and win against the lower teams. We bottled it versus Arsenal, We bottled it versus City and we bottled it today.

If Mkhi put one of his chances away we would be talking about a totally different game.
