Thiago Silva confirms he's not leaving. Apparently.
You need to provide sources, man. Otherwise we'll lynch you.

Reading your post again,I might have misunderstood you. Is vs was...If today Rio isn't a Manchester United man, I don't know who is!
Anyone know what the Barca forums are saying?
It's on the PSG site, but it's just been tweeted now by the Barca Stuff twitter who usually post up to date stuff. PSG article says it's from yesterday. You need to provide sources, man. Otherwise we'll lynch you.
"I've always said that I'm happy at Barça. Whoever says that I'm leaving doesn't know me and has never spoken with me," Fábregas said last month. "Nor with my agent, because he knows that I don't want him to talk with other people about me. If someone says anything that isn't that I want to play at Barca, it's completely absurd."I think Arsenal probably do have first option, but Fabregas wanted to go and win things. He's not going to settle for 4th place mediocrity now

"What's Sergio Canales up to these days?"
Thiago's Trauma - symptoms and relief:
When the good Doktors Redknappen and Dalgeesh began their pivotal and groundbreaking research into Muppetosis and advanced Kermitosis they noticed a severe physical side-effect. Thiago's Trauma - this trauma occurs throughout the body as Muppetosis stage 5A mutates regular cells, causing tears specifically in the wrist, fore-arm and shoulder muscles, this is known as tendinitis spasticity brought about through repeated stress due to the patients inability to suppress certain "urges". To cure Thiago's Trauma patients should be isolated away from inflaming sources such as the media and the internet. Though for a long-term cure, it is advised Doctors give the patient a one-term dose of Thiago Alcantara. This treatment is widely unavailable and costs millions per dose, medical researchers have also suggested that a trail in Bavaria has proven to be largely ineffective with underwhelming results. Thiago's Trauma is therefore a category 1 inhibitor, current on-going treatment research includes Fabregas Flaccidity Fluid-Therapy which could be potentially administered along with lowering the levels of junk food intake, specifically but not limited to Pizza. Which categorically should not be administered to a patients face, forcibly, as of yet I am unable to specify why this final sentence has been requested after peer review.

I know, unbelievable. As if last summer/season never happened. Thank god we only stick to players with United in their blood, like Robin Van Persie.

I'd be incredibly surprised if they agreed to a 50% clause. Then again, the clause for Thiago was mental too, so Barca don't seem to make the wisest decisions as a business.
Even with first refusal, Cesc would have to actually want to go to Arsenal. He might not want to.
Nothing really, other then like all of us here they think there's no chance of it happening. Most of them are still crying about Thiago leaving as well.

This is what i cant get my head around. He doesnt seem to be someone who'd leave barca so soon.
What do you think it is then? Both sky and bbc printing news they dont believe to be 100% true or do you think we're just too naive as a club and have lodged a bid without talking with the player's team first.
Sky and the BBC print football shite all day long, I don't think you've made a bid at all. Both sky and bbc printing news they dont believe to be 100% true or do you think we're just too naive as a club and have lodged a bid without talking with the player's team first.

To be fair, van Persie had that "little boy" screaming in his head.
I wonder does Fabregas suffer from a similar mental disease?
If he rejects us, this could be very embarrassing and shows us in a bad light.
Big risk this

They've got Abidal and Villa off, Thiago once he's signed and sealed. Don't think they're desperate to get anyone else off the wage bill with only Neymar signed up at the moment.
I cant read the twitter thread
Not at all. We don't have much to lose and we can gain a player that knows English football like his pocket.
You're taking it out of context. United have bid for Fabregas, the bid hasn't been accepted, nor has Fabregas publicly said he wants to move. Obviously, I think it's fair to say that we most probably wouldn't have bid if we didn't think we could get him so there must have been at least some discussions with Fabregas' people. That doesn't necessarily mean Fabregas is open to the move though, either to us or Arsenal.

I'm very happy with our transfer activity over the past few years. However our record in signing these types of players - i.e. Fabregas is dismal for whatever reason. So therefore I wouldn't be surprised if Barca come out and say he isn't for sale, move on United because we don't seem to have much strategy with these high profile foreign signings. Continually repeating that we signed so and so last year or the year before is irrelevant as I am not referring to these players.

Yeah but if you look at it from another POV, both Cesc and Thiago reject us....It wouldn't exactly make us look good if you know what I mean
And how would Thiago be any different? He left Barca because he couldn't make it there, to a midfield that already contains Mueller, Kroos, Gotze, Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez. He's of the same ilk as Fabregas in that respect.
Was Berbatov a "Manchester United man"? Is Rooney? Was Rio? Don't think so.
Most of the times yes, but not always. Real Madrid has a 50% of Garay's sale.Don't you generally only see '% of next sale' clauses if they're buying from a smaller club who needs the money?
Thanks!Nothing really, other then like all of us here they think there's no chance of it happening. Most of them are still crying about Thiago leaving as well.
Could Barca be pushing him towards a move? I can't see United going blindly without researching both his availability and Barca's willingness to do a deal.
PS: This is all assuming these reports have any foundation.

So basically you're only 'referring' to the players that fit with your point, and we can't mention the others. We don't get 'players like' Benzema? RVP. We don't get 'players like' Nasri, Sneijder? Kagawa. Thiago? DDG.
The only point which you can actually make is that we don't get all the high-profile foreign players that we try for. And it would be a bit weird if we did.
There's absolutely nothing circumstantial to say Thiago rejected us.
Rooney-Fabregas swap?
