I really think it's time to ban strikers at all levels of football. They're just the goddamn worst. Everything they stand for is selfish nonsense. They're basically American Republicans.

He'd automatically be the best striker at the club and could easily score 20+ if he stays fit. I don't see how you think it's ridiculous that some of us would want him here. It's Zlatan ffs!
Not too sure about that, hes not exactly Ballotelli is he, granted he can be a clown at times, but hes not really that bad
As for the making sense part, I don't think there are many available strikers atm, so as a backup/short term option until we can take a closer look at Kane, I don't think its the worst idea in the world, esp if it was for something silly like £4m
EDIT: Swapping Falcao for Ibra is a no brainer for instance

Not really a fan of these 1-2 year solutions. Schweinsteiger and Ramos are about as old as I'd want to buy.
It would give Wilson time to develop, I know where you're coming from but there aren't many options available.
If he could guarantee another 40 yard bicycle kick over Joe Hart it'd be worth it for that alone.

I love Zlatan, and seeing him in a United shirt for the novelty of it would make me absolutely chuffed. But IF we did sign him, its got disaster written all over. Our manager is insane, and Ibra is just as insane. And they have a previous dislike for each other. Zlatan under Fergie would have been great, though. He could have been like Cantona for us. For Van Gaal and Ibra just sounds like an explosion waiting to happen.
So interesting point. Ibra hasn't won the UCL and PSG aint going to win it.

As we should, I'm always for having a British/Irish core in the squad but truth is not many talents are emerging atm. If Kane sustains this level for a couple of seasons then it's a no brainer really .
I thought he was 30. Giving up a proven PL goalscorer in van Persie to replace him with Zlatan doesn't make sense.
Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as people think. He can be rotated in the team add experience and he can entertain us with some brilliant goals and interviews. He's a winner for sure and thats not a bad thing to have around the club.
Next season he would match Ryan Giggs in the number of league championship titles if he wins whichever league competition he plays in.
