Actually expected him to get more severe punishment. He'll be off for matches against Nice, Metz, Lille and Nantes (or are PSG playing some cup game midway through those fixtures?) and PSG are just a point ahead of Lyon.

His reaction to the suspension, translated from his app:
"Now people can see it themselves, with their own eyes instead of me having to say it. The whole situation has become a joke, ridiculous and unprofessional. A disgrace for football. I would have been happier if i had been suspended for the rest of the season so i could go on vacation immediately."
He's pissed off. Zlatan plays better when he's pissed off. PSG play Bastia tomorrow in the french league cup final.
I'm on fire prediction-wise lately . Sucks he's suspended on wednesday.
Doesn't look like they've appealed the suspension yet anyways. He probably deserves some sort of penalty, but 4 games? Harsh.
He has scored 32 goals and assisted 13 in 25 league matches this year.(2212 minutes) Incredible statistic which is a point per game in the league that Messi has just ever surpassed once in 2012-13. 0.49 minutes per goal/assist and Leo had 0.46 minutes per goal/assist with his fantastic 46 goals and 12 assists in 2644 minutes. Not a comparison between the players, just interesting that he's producing at such an impressive rate.
He's a league football bully. In Europe he disappears into his shell, no more arrogant Ibra there.
51 goals from 127 European games isn't exactly a bad record. He scored against Chelsea both home and away and scored against City at home. Sure he missed a penalty, as did Agüero. But he was very influential over both legs. He hit the post in the first leg and worked Hart with two well executed free-kicks.
The guy is 34 years old and still playing to a very high standard. Aduriz is the only other striker of the same age bracket who comes close.
His international record with an inferior nation is also very impressive.

51 goals isn't really impressive tbh with so many matches and a lot of them being in the group stages (logically so tbh) and not nearly enough in the knockout stages. It's not just about the lack of goals either, it's his performances which become really disappointing when he reaches a certain level in the CL.
Don't care about the 'Ligue 1 is crap' narrative to be honest. Three of the players nominated for the PFA Player of Year are from the French League, and were bought quite recently - and Payet is almost 30 and has scored more in the Premier League. If Zlatan can be a bully again weaker teams, great - we need goals to convert losses to Norwich, Bournemouth, Stoke, Middlesbrough, Sunderland into wins - that's where we stand right now, and we can't be snooty about a top quality Bosman signing.
Zlatan is probably the greatest upgrade we can realistically get in striker positions (the ones that are better are at big clubs already, even inferior ones will cost eye-watering amounts of money). And for not performing in the Champions League knockout stages angle - thing is, we won't be playing in them next season, and who knows what happens in 2017/ 2018. Get him in on a 2 year contract, and let Rashford develop organically. By 2018, you'll have a clear idea of Rashford's long terms sustainability. Give the position to him full time if he's up to the task, or move Martial up front, or sign a top striker once we're re-established as a major side (in on-field footballing terms).

Eh, he's 7th on the all time list and is one of 14 players to have scored more than 50 goals between Champions League and Europa League/UEFA Cup.
Should we take away all of Ronaldo's group stage goals over the years?
I think you have an agenda.
51 out 127 isn't impressive. If you don't agree with me it doesn't mean I have an agenda , Ronaldo has proven time and time again that whether it's group stages or knockout stages, he can deliver with goals. He doesn't have the reputation of not delivering when it matters the most, Ibra has had it for most of his career and rightly so. Going back to the "agenda" point, you're so mistaken as I actually want him Ibra to sign for Man Utd and play in the PL to see how he would perform.
He had poor stats early in his career.51 out 127 isn't impressive.
Who here would still bring him on 3m euros a month.
Take into consideration that their first choice midfield was missing for the game. Possibly their most important (or top 3) players in Matuidi as well.Lost all respect for those numbers in the French league when I see them turn up at the Etihad and can't create a chance. French League is so bad right now it must actually be boring to be a PSG fan.
You're basically nitpicking at a phenomenal career across all levels. Zlatan has rarely played for a team who is an actual favourite to win The Champions League. Bar one season with Barcelona and possibly his final season with Milan, he rarely played with a team that had a genuine chance at winning it.
He had poor stats early in his career.
Since he moved to Barcelona it's 33 goals and 17 assists in 59 CL games.
In the later stages of the CL he often wasn't in the dominating side and when his team is thoroughly outplayed it's unfair to expect him to singlehandedly win games against world's best opposition because neither do Messi or Ronaldo as you can see with their national teams.
