Also feel like a big part in our seemingly fragile mentality and things like the Pogba situation getting out of hand could have been at least a bit negated if Ibra didn't get injured and was still a big part of the squad. He has the temperament and charisma that he wouldn't let anyone really act like that, and would demand a much higher standard of play from everyone. Yeah we weren't great last season, but for the most part, it was a lot of bad finishing and just not making the most out of good play, and then being a bit unbalanced in terms of players at our disposal. It was not a case of players seemingly not putting in the effort, not caring, lack of emotional balance, all that stuff that we've been seeing since the New Year this season.
Feel like he'd give Pogba a slap in the head if he put in some of the performances he has the last few months, and Pogba himself would probably look up to Ibra enough to not let his standards slip that much while both were on the pitch.
