thought he looked really good, 18 goals this season and 20 in one month. Unlucky not to add a goal tonight. Interesting that he can make the play quite deep and still pop up quite high up the pitch.
Obviously not the finished article, most 19 year olds that have only ever played in Belgium don't look complete. Would need a couple of years to really adapt to the prem. Took suarez time to make the jump up too etc etc

He's also two-footed and strikes a ball very well. I'd be looking at him as one of the options as potential Carrick-successors.
He doesn't really play that role. Dendoncker's yer man for that.
He'd be making the right move by going to Monaco
Plays from deep, does a bit of everything and then gets forward to score goals. Thats what made Ballack German footballer of the year in his time at Leverkusen and his transfer to Bayern.
He has to be one that we're looking at to go with Pogba and Ander in the middle. We arent going to get anyone thats like for like with Carrick, but perhaps a good balance can be found with them.

Either a lot of players seem to have fantastic games against us, or this is another prospect that we should be looking at. He's only 22 as well!
Dendoncker and Tielemans also seem to have a very good understanding together making eachother better if they can play together. Been at the core of Anderlecht's team this year.
I think a club could do some marvellous business buying these 2 from Anderlecht and wouldn't cost more than €40m for the both of them. If Monaco would lose out on Bakayoko and Fabinho then they would have their new midfield sewn up by buying these 2 together as a package. I have no doubt they would double or triple in value over the course of some years.
I think United should seriously think about taking a punt with them, espeically if I hear the prices of some other players, having these 2 for €40m actually does sound like good value.

Agreed, would be an extremely shrewd bit of business. We were really on the ropes and the two of them had full control of the midfield until Fellaini came on.
Unfortunately, I think they're primed for a team like Spurs. I remember they purchased Dele Alli on the back of his performance against us as well.
Tielemans might be worth a punt but to be honest I'd rather buy someone experienced in the middle. Somebody like Vidal or Nainggollan.
That Dendoncker is mighty impressive. I wouldn't be against signing him actually.
I'd be careful of that. Anderlecht were playing out of their skins at times tonight. You could say the same thing about Spajic, Mbodji and Ruben but if they played this well all the time they wouldn't be at Anderlecht. It was just one of those games where the two teams pushed each other to higher and higher levels.
This tie was the only time I've seen him. Anderlecht have some wonderful players over the years, I know that much. He just appears to be the strongest and most influential one, and plays in a position we need to bolster.
Sign him please Klopp. Want a belgian I can be truly proud of. Migs and Benteke didnt/havent exactly endeared themselves. He's a top talent the type we should be looking to sign before another club swoops in.

Or potentially a Ronaldo or a Alli. You're always going to get more misses than hits when signing promising talents. Not signing a young player because there's a chance he could fail is just failing to look at the bigger picture.

On Alli i agree. But those are the rarest of cases...at that development state really only worth a punt if you can get them for cheap. But in our case and situation a player of that caliber wouldn't get enough time to show himself. We are not Tottenham or Dortmund
Dendocker is 22 he is either good enough for us or not at this point.
Come on, he's better than Nick Powell by a country mile. I don't need to watch him much to work that out. Dendoncker looks like a powerhouse and he covers critical territory through 90 minutes.

He's shown a lot of potential there against our 'international superstars' it kind of reminds me of Ali's game against us when lvg was in charge, major influence on a much lower team playing very well against us despite the young age. Seems a top prospect.
Not a chance we're getting him for £20m in 2017. Plenty of mid table clubs can match that bid, let alone the top tier ones.
The moment we get linked, you know his price is getting doubled for shits and giggles.
He was utterly average. Nothing about the 2 performances scream a potential move to any of the top sides.
What about the Lingard rule? Think the age limit is now 25 before you can judge that.

I actually think that lazy as it might be, the best policy for a club like us if we can't sign them at a really young (Academy) age is wait for him to get his move and then see how he does. I could see him at Monaco, Sevilla, Dortmund or Porto.....somebody of that ilk would be a good next step for him

Was I not correct in my assessment? I don't dislike Lingard (as a personality he seems a nice kid) I just don't rate him as good enough. Give me Mane any day. I'm also not a big fan of Blind (as a nailed on starter), Darmain has shown to be short of the quality we need and to a lesser degree I'm not fully convinced yet about Herrera as real top drawer (although he fully merits his place at the club). I also don't like Mata at wide right although I think he's a magician but if not played centre then never going to get the best out of him. Things I got wrong were Bastian and Rojo. Just voicing my opinion on a forum buddy. What gets me is I'm happy to voice my opinions against the grain and stick to them (unless like Rojo where I state I've been wrong but at the time I was saying it he had been producing awful performances) but where are all the posters that give you serious stick at the time then when the narrative changes say like for Blind at centre back where have all these guys gone?
I'll tell you who I want for next year lol Griezmann and Silva. I'd sacrifice another season with our 4 current midfielders to splash out all our transfer kitty on these two.

Agreed. Either of those two would be a fantastic compliment to Herrera and Pogba.
Be a good punt for Liverpool. Available for a decent fee and other clubs might see him as too much of a gamble for immediate needs.

I can't think of the last time I've seen a 19 year old centre mid score 19 goals in a season (still games left). A good number have to have been penos. Clearly a good number were from 25 yards + as well
No he isnt english so he is good. He was Anderlechts danger man for me. Herrera probably could have stifled Tielemans if he had played.

Spajic was incredible on Thursday. We could do worse than add him as a squad member CB. That said, with all our crocks, he'd walk into the first team alongside Bailly.
