Your Hidden Gems or under the radar - Wanted Signings

Actually I just got reminded (by him scoring a great goal) that this might be the opportunity for Can Uzun to step up and establish himself in Frankfurt's first team. Could also be an interesting player to watch (and I believe he was mentioned in this thread before).
There you go. I figured they must have someone in their squad who they were expecting to step up if Marmoush left. Now they have 60m in their pocket and already have a replacement. So they could go and take a risk like they did with Ekitike and find another young talented player at 20m euros who they can develop. At the rate Ekitike is developing and with the dearth of good strikers at the moment, someone is going to offer them +60m for him in the summer. It may not be us but if Arsenal bought Isak, he would be a ready made replacement for Newcastle. West Ham are also looking for a striker. Although I hope we sell Zirkzee to Juventus in the summer and try go for Ekitike, he's someone who I think is starting to know his game much more and will go on to flourish. I like his all round game, similar to Sesko but a better dribbler.

Apparently he currently plays in Marseille, is called Elye Wahi and costs around 20m

Hahaha, Frankfurt moved fast. Really good scouting by them. Similar to Ekitike, Wahi has potential but latest move hasn't worked out for him. I look forward to them turning him into the next 50m+ striker.

Although something has to be said about the strikers from Frankfurt, they mostly don't do well after they leave. Thinking of Haller, Jovic, Silva, Muani. Maybe strikers just look good there due to how they play?

It's all attackers... you could add Kostic, Rebic, Kamada in recent years to that list as well.

Frankfurt truly has a great leadership and for the past decade always had a very good team spirit, I guess that helps.

Yet again I'm watching Bournemouth and Dango Outtara is the one I'd want to sign as a wingback.

2 goals today, first a salamander Ronaldo like leap for a header and the 2nd a dribble and finish. Yes he might want to play as an attacker instead but in the 2nd half of last season he did a great job taking Kerkez's leftback position. Also averages 2.2 tackles per game even playing as a winger so hes an aggressive ball winner, a bit like Valencia was depite playing on the wing. Has pace and athleticism and this season he's found end product with 5 goals and 4 assists in the league so far

Edit - Make it a hattrick

Kevin Lopes. Plays for Shaktar on the left wing and been excellent.

Was one of the best young talents in Brazil when they signed him and he's looked great in games vs champions league opposition.
Best player on the pitch vs Dortmund tonight.

Would personally carry him from Shaktar to Manchester for our left wing.

I have really been liking the look Bilal El Khannouss at Leicester. We should take a hard look if Leicester go down as a 10 backup.

Malick Yalcouyé, 19 year old midfielder from Sturm Graz (Austrian Bundesliga).

Good acceleration and turnaround, can safely pass and has a bit of a goal threat in him. At 19, obviously, with tons of potential in the bag. Admittedly, he's a bit raw and sometimes misses the opportunity to play a more simple pass, but that can surely be developed.

Highlights

Christos Mouzakitis (17) of Olympiakos looks like a huge CM talent of the Iniesta mould.

Apparently we are scouting him and teammate Charalampos Kostoulas, a CF of the same age.

He's not hidden, but god damn is he a gem. That Rogers kid playing at Villa. So strong and powerful. Worth a 60 million bid. A future England superstar.

Not sure if he’s under the radar exactly but…Nathan Collins is having a great season for Brentford by all accounts.

Amadou Kone from Reims. Good DM or B2B player. Athleticism, speed, good engine, decent passing ability and height. He actually reminds me of Baleba a lot. Just like Brighton did with Baleba after a season of him playing, we should bring in Kone at the end of the season before other clubs start getting onto him.

Rodrigo Mora stood out for his sharpness and ingenuity on the ball tonight for Porto, didn't realise he was only 17 till I managed to catch the commentator mentioning it. Seemed to be operating in the same inside left attacking position that United use.

Last night, I would say the same about the Feyenoord right back, Givairo Read. Very noticeable for some very crisp one-twos early doors, then consistently took the opportunity to bomb forward on the overlap in the first half and Leao didn't have the appetite to go with him at all. Also displayed great recovery pace. Only 18 and was his Champion's League debut.

Joel Ordonez looked very good for Club Brugge in an early season Champion's League tie against (I think) Dortmund, then again against Watkins and Villa, and the commentator was singing his praises when I flicked to their game against Man City just prior to him... er... scoring an own goal. 20 years old, great reactive speed, athletic in general but looks a calm, considered defender.

Yann Bisseck made an immediate impression the first time I saw him, when coming on as a second half sub for Inter in a Champion's League tie last year, with his sharpness and comfort passing and carrying the ball, while being a giant. Playing as (mostly a right-sided) wide centre back in a back three at Inter and apparently earned his move there also playing in a three (mostly on the left). Seemed to be behind Pavard generally but thought he looked a good, interesting player. Earned lots of plaudits for a standout performance against Man City this season, not really sure of his current standing in Milan. 24 years old, great in possession and really, really tall.

I see Dibling being mentioned relatively frequently here in the transfer forum, but I think Kamaldeen Sulemana would be worth a look at from Southampton when they go down. He was fantastic against us, and absolutely destroyed Yoro. A truly dangerous dribbler, without the sense of brainlessness you get watching Adama Traore. Something worth having in the squad.

What do we feel about Mateus Fernandez ? He is 20 years old and in the top 15 progressive passers in top 5 leagues. He is at Southampton.

Ugarte, Fernandes, Kobbie, and one established quality CM (lets say Ederson) could be a strong MF with depth. We can loan out Collyer and continue to develop Kone for the future.

Not all these are exactly hidden but a hypothetical summer of signings in case we have little to no money

LCB - Olivier Boscagli (Free) (Saw this in another posters recommendations and looked him up)

CM 1 - Mateus Fernandes - 25m

CM 2 - Anguissa (Free)

AM 1 - Cunha (55m) - this one is pricey but we do a need at least 1 proven in the league attacker.

AM 2 - Bilal El Khannouss -30m

Striker - El Nesyri- 25m

-------------Yoro (Maz)------------------De Light (Maguire)-----------------Boscagli (Heaven)-------------------------------

-------Amad (Dalot)-----------------Anguissa (Ugarte)--------------------M Fernandes (Kobbie)---------------Dorgu (Leon)

----------------------Bruno (El Khannouss)-----------------------Cunha (Garnacho / Mount?)-----------------------------------

-----------------------------------El Nesyri (Rasmus)----------------------------------------------------------

I like him a lot and reckon Ruben will too.

Mentioned him a few times, watched him when we played at Old Trafford first hand, ran the show anything Southampton did came through him.

Only 20 so got a lot of growing and developing still to do.

Seems exactly the type of profile we should go after. Young but proven to some extent and not likely to be very pricey.

Even though this isn't their exclusive information, the fact that they are referencing reported links is encouraging. Academy Scoop is reliable for us.

This would be a dream, this young lad looks like a stand out talent. He would instantly improve our attacking play. Both him and Quenda would level us up.

In the foreground I will go look for a good attacker like we all know here Gyokeres or Osimen but we need a rotation player Rasmus will be one of them and the other one a would say :
Mbala Nzola who play for Lens.A physical player who will have no problem adapting to the English championship. Not bad in the last 6 meters and its price I think will not high . One problem maybe he is 28.

After that i will go for Hadj Moussa who play for Feyenord : Positions: Attacking Midfielder (Right) his strengths : Crossing , Strong Holding on to the ball Strong at Passing Strong at Dribbling and Finishing . Will around 15-20 Million .

We also need more technical players like Rayan Cherki .

Love to see people are getting more and more positive on Bilal el Khanouss. Went from a big talent to a leader at Genk and has evolved into a more mobile Tielemans in my opinion. The next big thing at Genk is also showing what he can do: 17 y/o Karetsas who's a very creative #10. It'd be worth having an eye on Genk with the amount of talented players to churn out.

Yeah, it would seem he's actually a very highly rated youngster with big things expected of him.

Samu up front would be a good signing for us from Porto. Monstrous presence when the ball is played up to him in build-up and in the box. He's a better age for signing than Mora - let's be honest, it's a big ask to bring a 17 year old in for the first team.

Jashari of Club Brugge looks like a nice CM/CDM who can really make the pass

A nice, obviously highly technical player. Strong build too and displays good energy in possession. Can see why you say CM/CDM as he plays as the centre mid with more licence/onus to get forward in support of the attack but looks to drop deeper than his midfield partner when the team is trying to play out from the back - seems like he really wants to be the first receiver in midfield in possession.

Generally, Club Brugge have a talented young side and are an enjoyable watch. I think Jashari's midfield partner, Onyedika, could be a good signing as rotation/cover for Ugarte if available at a reasonable price. Wouldn't advocate for signing him, but I like the right back too (playing out of position, being left-footed?).

I think Jay Stansfield looks really talented. Like a young Vardy. Be interesting to see how he does in the Championship next season.

Santiago Gimimez was hiding in plain sight at Feyenoord & has signed for Milan and scored 2 goals in 2 games. Shame he would have been perfect for us.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out but tbh I wouldn't blame anyone too much for not paying a decentish fee given the translation issues from the Netherlands to England in recent years. Gakpo looked like Messi there and is merely a decent player in England. Gimenez scored a lot of goals but to me looked like he could struggle in a faster league.

He’s 27 so maybe a bit too old for some - but Maeda from Celtic would be class as the striker in this formation. Never seen anyone press as hard or run as fast as he does. A defenders nightmare.

We need as many hidden gems as possible, as looks like we are broke for the foreseeable.

He runs like Vardy alright

We really need to tap into free agents and loan and option to buy market. We need atleast 6 players. With atleast two strikers, one wingback, one CM, one CB and keeper.

Highly probable we will let go atleast two CMs - Eriksen and Casemiro

Three to four defenders - Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia and Evans.

Plus the likes of Sancho, Antony and Rashford will also leave. Possibly Garnacho/Hojlund and Bayinder

So overall we will have around 10 players out so atleast we will need 6 ins.

What’s really important is considering we have limited finance available we should blow our load on attackers. No more defenders or midfielders before striker or preferably two.

I actually think its more like 7 we need based on the likely outgoings: 1 x top striker, 2 x wingbacks, 1 x CM, 1 x AM, 1 x CB and 1 x GK.

Based on yesterday I wouldnt be surprised if Zirkzee starts playing as an AM regularly. I also think we need two wingbacks unless we see the Paraguayan kid coming in straight away, and another AM as I see us parting ways with Garnacho in the summer.

Cheap / Free signings we can look at across those positions:

ST - Jonathan David (I personally think we need better but he's an option)
WB - Lamptey, Reguilon, Walker-Peters (all quite underwhelming but no worse than Dalot)
CM - Angel Gomes, Anguissa, Norgaard
AM - Angel Gomes, Nypan (10-15m), Bardghji (10m)
CB - Ola Aina (could play as a wide CB), Jonathan Tah, Boscagli
GK - Kovar (buy-back)

If we can get at least 3 out of the 7 signings needed from this pile, with the other 4 ranging between £30-60m we can certainly do the necessary business IMO.

My personal picks would be Lamptey or Reguilon for WB, Anguissa or Angel Gomes at CM, Boscagli at CB (as Tah feels unrealistic) and Nypan or Bardghji as AMs

Consider the fact we will be supplementing the team with youth, so include players like Heaven, Kukonki, Leon, Chido as the replacements in the squad of players like Lindelof, Eriksen, Evans
