Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
Just seen this...

A trio of Premier League clubs are hot on the trail of Dnipro playmaker Yevhen Konoplyanka, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all interested, according to talkSPORT.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, dubbed the 'Ukrainian Lionel Messi', is set to feature at Euro 2012 this summer - a shop window for a host of players looking to earn a lucrative transfer abroad.

Konoplyanka is keen to test himself in one of Europe's elite leagues, but the fact he already earns a considerable salary with Dnipro could potentially prove problematic.

The club are bankrolled by a billionaire owner who likes to reward the club's players from a young age, and will be in no rush to sell.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been credited with an interest in bringing Konoplyanka to Old Trafford, while Chelsea could make a rival bid, despite having already concluded deals for Marko Marin and Eden Hazard, who will arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Arsenal are also believed to be monitoring the situation, but Arsene Wenger may be priced out of an attempt to lure the talented youngster to the Emirates Stadium, as he too looks to bolster the Gunners' attacking options

Probably nothing, but worth keeping an eye out for at the Euro's maybe?

Here's a youtube vid...

From the youtube clip It seems that Messichenko has two quick feet which help him gets past players quite easily, but other than that we know next to nothing about him.

What. A. fecking. Name. I'd sign him just on the basis of that.

Can you imagine David Pleat and other commentators trying to pronounce this .

Scored a couple cracking goals toward the end of that video. And what a fantastic name.

"Konoplya" in Russian means cannabis. Another reason to buy!

Got a great pace on him. Quite close control as well. As someone already said, fancy and meaningful name, too!

He was very good. I was vary of Yarmolenko because of FM but I had never seen or heard of Konoplyanka. Good attacking wing display from Ukraine today.

He had a good game, lots of pace, good use of the ball and seemingly comfortable on either foot, he also switched the play a couple of times with a nice long range cross field pass, interesting prospect.

Reminds me a bit of Diego.
I remember seeing this compilation with horrible music in it when he was playing for Porto. Reminds me a bit of that video.

If Nani were to go...

Would certainly be a great replacement. Surely wouldn't be too expensive either, who does he play for ?

He was awesome against England last qualifier.

His close control is excellent, and he's always positive in his play. Would love him here, especially if Nani has to leave.

Konoplyanka has announced that he is definitely leaving Dnipro this summer. Not surprising at all.

IMO, he's not all that great - but I can see him playing pretty well in a mid-table Premiership side somewhere.

He seems like the sort of player who keeps being linked to the best clubs in the world and then ends up signing for Hamburg.

I'd prefer that we sign Sminky Pinky or some other made-up name.

Its absolute madness that this kid is not at a bigger club.

Every time I have seen him(twice), he has impressed me.

pace, skill, a good cross, great shot. Why has this kid not been picked up?

He was awesome against England, best player on pitch for me.

Juande Ramos put a massive price tag on him.
Those Ukrainian clubs are loaded with cash so there's no incentive for them to sell players at a lower price. Shakhtar got €25m+ for Mkhitaryan, Willian and Fernandinho without much trouble.

I just think Liverpool / Arsenal / Tottenham could do a LOT worse than picking this guy up.

£25m would seem a fair price for somebody like him in today's market. Could make a big splash in England.

Got a thing for the dramatic I see Adam? You might be right about the lad, but surely you'd need to watch him more than twice?

Rumours on the tweet that Liverpool have made an offer. Would be an excellent signing if they can pull it off.

I must say that I think Rodgers has alrgely targeted the right players since taking charge, which has accelerated his rebuild.
