Perhaps for now, but I can't see Cher winning. She's popular with her target audience (white, teenage Hip Hop fans), but she has a lot of haters too. As acts get voted off each week, the people who were voting for those acts, will move their votes to other people still left in the competition. I can see more people who were previously voting for say, Aiden, Mary and Paije voting for a Rebecca or Matt, than a Cher. Whereas the fans of One Direction may move their votes to Cher (or vise versa if she goes first), as they're aimed at a similar age group.

Matt and Rebecca are a lot more likeable, which is a huge factor in a competition like this.

I don't think we've been able to see the real Matt, not since his first audition anyway.

Having heard him sing Amy Winehouse, I know what he's capable of. Loved that.
 
A poll on Talksport earlier, found that a majority of respondents believed Cheryl's decision to wear a skunk on her head during Sunday's show was a bad hair day.

She's either gonna sing this song properly and be shit, or sing it "her way" and feck it up. Either way, she's in bother.

neither do I, but he had a vest, trackies and trainers on from what I could tell, and sang ina weird grunty voice at the start. Sang like himslef 2nd half.
 
I love Matt but that was bloody terrible. What the feck with that song choice? The part about him that everybody loves the most is his vulnerability, and his indie appeal to win the audience over with his sheer vocals. I don't know why they made him this confident asshole doing an atrocious Broadway act.

According to some msn celebrity blogger on Twitter it was something to do with all the 'press' he's been getting about being a sex addict. No, doesn't make any sense to me either.

Well there are 9 acts left and there's usually 3 in the final I think.

IIRC the final is usually the weekend before the weekend of the XMas number 1 If that makes sense...

So maybe not 7 weeks, probably more like 4 or 5 :)
 
After Wagner's performance, the nations sweetheart said that she understands Wagner has been talking about her in the press saying that she is from a council estate or something....she said she was proud to be from a council estate.

Wagner then said you shouldn't believe everything you read in the press (she should know)

Then afterwards, he told her exactly what had happened and what was said - nothing bad or wrong on Wagner's part. Cheryl, thus, shown up to be the prat that she is.
 
i hope there's another double eviction soon, there can only be 4 more weeks left if they are going for christmas number 1
