I only watch the X Factor for the rubbish auditions anyway, I usually stop watching once it gets narrowed down to the good'uns, but they're just not as funny when they've a crowd in front of them cheering them on.
That said, I still enjoy the Xtra Factor, due to Holly Willoughby.

They do. Only those who pass 3 rounds of auditions can go in front of the judges. However, in the interest of "good television", the shit, embarrassing ones are also given passes.
They do, they let the shite ones through for 'entertainment'. The judges already know who the good ones are before they meet them. Why do you think in the build-up to their audition they have clips of them at work and stuff telling you about their dead end job, etc... They know all about them.
