It would surprise me if some of these bad/rude acts are just planted for entertainment value.
i'm sure last night's last act was planned - simon being fed up , cheryl saying
" heaven help the next act " etc etc, and then danyl coming on and wowing them
Well I think that's in the editing.
I don't know about people being planted - I do think some people are delusional, and some just want to get on tv regardless of how they sound.
they have to be delusional don't they? some of them seem genuinely amazed at being told they can't sing
The big thing I dont like about the new look is that they have the option of using backing tracks now. Backing tracks can make a massive difference to someones performance and isnt very fair on people who auditioned on previous shows.
I just dont see the need to change it, apart from money of course which probably is the reason. Its just made it all look so fake and shit

And the big moment when the family outside the door are waiting nervously and you get the big reaction when they pass or fail. Now they're watching it with the audience, it has no soul anymore

did anyone else think that danyl wasn't that good? first of all he needs to learn how to spell his name, and secondly learn to sing!
Nah, I thought he was superb.
I thought he was very good but the judges went over the top. He certainly isnt the best singer to have gone on but is a natural showman which is why it was such a good audition. He wouldn't have been able to do that in the old format, he'd have just looked stupid.
and he wouldnt have had the backing track which would have made his performance alot less "Special"

It was a brilliant performance that he definitely needed to get noticed.
Be interesting to hear him actually sing and when he's not bouncing around.
Then we'll see.
On the plus side tho...he is well fit.

if you get chance look for adam singing a whole lot of love and mad world - he really is superb.

Can't take it seriously with the live audience and all the hype on the first auditions.
The first auditions were fine as they were, now it's just gotten too predictable to the point where even an amazing performance doesn't make me sit up.

The live audience has ruined it...the people who laugh are just as shit, or worse
it could be worse, they could include victoria beckham on the panel like they have in america
Adam Lambert is fantastic, he really has it all - the look, charisma, stage presence and such a wonderful voice that he can sing anything he wants to.

Yes I've watched his version of Mad World countless times, it's spine-tingling beautiful.
isn't it just? so much better than the original even.
i love adam's voice - he has to be the most talented person ever on a reality show ( just my opinion of course )
