WHAT. A. SAVE.
Earps saved the day again for England.

They've been playing like this since the Euros. No cutting edge.Just arrived home and switched it on. Has the whole game been like this?
Reminds me of utd under LVG. Lots of possession but no idea what to do with it. No cutting edge.
Can’t say I watch women’s football, though watched the Euro’s. Aren’t England meant to be one of the favourites? This is shockingly poor
Maybe the euros is where the team peaked. The injuries don’t help either but England are very flat
Bright hasn't played since early March, so there's a bit of a gamble there, but she's never very agile. Paired up with Leah Williamson it worked, so maybe once she's got the rust off the combination with Carter will work.Millie Bright is not very agile right? Lucky they have PURE UNITED in goal!
Germany had 7 or 8 of their regular starting 11 missing in the EUROs final vs England. So ENG should be able to handle this fine!

They've been poor since the Euros and they'll be relieved if they get out of this with the three points. That said, the first match of the Euros was England worst match there, so they can get better. Can’t say I watch women’s football, though watched the Euro’s. Fran Kirby a big miss as well.I don’t get this logic. That’s exactly the point - England are struggling to replace the missing stars while Germany weren’t.
They could get a medal but I would not rate them as one of the favourites with Williamson & Mead missing.
Pretty much this.
Fran Kirby a big miss as well.
I don’t think they scored in any of the warm up games, even the closed door ones.I reckon England will struggle to win their next two games. There’s no creativity and hasn’t been for some time now

Haiti were brilliant.
England not good enough at the back, Millie Bright is way off the pace, Maguire like so that will be exposed at some stage in the knock outs.
A Maguire reference.Maguire has made his way into womens soccer He is really famous!
The argument would be that nobody in England gave Germany an excuse for the loss even though they missed all those players. While the same English people would excuse this England team for missing alot fewer players. I dont agree with that. I think the squad quility of England and Germany are about the same, therefore I reckon England should have no problems dealing with the current injuries :-)
Yes, I hadn't realised how many of their players were playing in France or in the US - they're anothet team whose FIFA ranking doesn't tell the full story. It still takes a good manager to bring it together and they seem to have found someone who knows the players well enough to make it work.Haiti are nowhere near the level that people would expect. Haiti aren’t the typical minnows, majority of their side is French based and are very good players. They’ve improved loads over the last couple of years. Mondesir and Dumornay are both world class and would probably get in Englands squad. It was never going to be very one sided (but could have been a big score with how Haiti defence can collapse)
England been poor but it’s still a better performance than USA v Vietnam earlier.

Their improvement defensively over the last year is remarkable really. I watched them against Portugal last year when Haiti were the better side but lost 5-0. They gave USA a good game in the 3-0 loss recently too.Yes, I hadn't realised how many of their players were playing in France or in the US - they're anothet team whose FIFA ranking doesn't tell the full story. That was a gorgeous goal too.
