It is nice to see local lads in the team definitely but I didn't really consider it that way. My thinking was purely based on the fact that with Harry Kane in our side next season we would take a massive step toward challenging for the title

Of course, in reality, I would love to see us buy a top striker and allow Rashford time to develop

Which is very likely to happen at some stage during the summer. Rashford, as talented as he is, cannot be relied upon to spearhead an attack that will be challenging on 4 fronts next season. Jose has made no effort to hide the fact that a world class striker is a top priority, it's simply a matter of who is available. Belotti, Greizemann, Kane? Take your pick, but of the three mentioned, Belloti strikes me as a the player most likely to succeed in a Jose-type setup - big, strong, good in the air, eye for goal etc also likely to adapt quickly to the prem given his characteristics. Kane is a potential target but Levy, being the stubborn old goat that he is, would take us to the cleaners if we went after him, pushing a £100m+ no doubt and I don't like the idea of bank rolling an already dangerous Spurs team. I haven't seen enough of Greizemann this season to make a judgement, though the Cafe seems to rave about him so take their word I guess.

Neymar? Now we're talking.

I would love to see us just go all out and spend the lions share of £200m to get Griezmann and Kane. If we did that....who knows....should really be looking top 2 as an absolute minimum because it would weaken Spurs as well

Imagine Kane up top, Griezmann behind with a choice of Rashford, Martial, Mhiki and Mata out wide

I must admit I was wrong about Kane. After his first season I was expecting him to suffer a bit and the goals to dry up but the opposite has happened. He's top class, maybe not world class but as good as you would need for a team challenging for the PL title. Just out of curiosity how much do we think it would cost to buy him? Considering how difficult it is to buy spurs players.

Rashford has some way to go yet but if he realises his potential then we have a player and Spurs can stick Kane up their arse.

Kane is already world class, Rashers has a long way to go yet and he may not hit those heights.

I'd have Kane all day.

Wouldn't trade but i would try to buy Kane and play them both together. Sick of this one striker malarkey anyway, Rashford could be for us what Alli is for Spurs. Pretty sure most successful teams in Europe play with 2 strikers nowadays; Madrid have Ronaldo and Benz, Barca have Suarez and Messi(in a free role), Juve have Higuain and Dybala, Munich have Lewa and Muller, Atletico have Griezmann and Gameiro etc....

2 strikers up top in Jose Mourinho team? Highly unlikely I'm afraid.

The most absurd thing i saw in football was when a Brazilian club was owing money to a former player, then they let him to pick some of their U-20 as form of payment
The guy could have chosen between RONALDINHO and Tinga, and he picks Tinga..

The second most absurd thing i saw in football was Germany nt smashing us in our home and guys like Schurle, Kedhira and Klose looking like world beaters.

The third most INSANE thing is the result of a poll where people would not trade a young player who scored 05 league goals for HARRY MUTHERF@CKER KANE!!!
