Look at the team they have. It is not huge quality and he is doing pretty well. Imagine what he could do here once the egos are gone

Ajax are just so gooooood. Imagine what we could achieve with a decent manager..

If you're watching Ajax now, and you can't see the difference a well coached side makes.. then it's really your own.

Almost a 3rd. The quality in the gameplay and structure compared to us is exceptional. And it reflects on the players too; nobody is really looking for a safe pass as the first option.

Will replace Pep and we will be left reading shit briefings by the club about how well functioning we are as a club.
Sick of it tbh.

The opinions of three Ajax-supporting posters on the Ten Hag/De Boer comparison.
That Bruno to Bebe was great.

Ajax are treating BVB like a test match, running riot against them. Blind is great, Gravenberch and Anthony look really good and Berhuis and Tadic keep things ticking along nicely. Ten Hag has made a very very solid team that will be hard to beat for anyone. United can only dream of the such style of football.

Absolutely brilliant football from Ajax. Dortmund are lucky they're only 2-0 down. Total football 2.0 is lovely to watch.

We've seen what happens when Manchester United have a top manager. 13 Premier League titles in 20 years.

We'll never have someone of SAF's level again, but it would be interesting to see what someone decent could do with the resources we can marshal.

This is sad, just making Dortmund look like a relegation side.

This is literally better than anything United served the last 8 years.

Yeah he's alright but is he marketable like Zidane? I don't think so

The real question is; would you take Steven Berghuis at United. Been brilliant tonight.

We just want him to manage our team and do this sexy shit he's doing with Ajax. We don't want to sell shirts with his name and neither sell him on eBay.

Just now the don't want vote went up from 48 to 49! Seriously who are these people?

What a first half by Ajax. We should really go all in for him, even if it means waiting until the summer.

32 year old Tadic plays every game for this side. Blind who wasn't fit for our bench 5 years ago plays nearly every game. Yet they play good football. Strange.

Everyone needs to watch this game. I fear many of would have forgotten was pattern of play is.

Crazy to imagine Donny was part of this two years ago and is now spitting from the dugout... crazy

To be fair, playing in our league isn't that intense for Ajax. Definitely not comparable to England.

Coaching.
Drills.
Pattern of play.
Tactics.

Don’t know anything about him, his style of play or how Ajax we doing this season…..but I’d take him

As is often the case with our club, we automatically assume that we can attract a manager like Ten Hag and that he should be flattered to be linked with us, but try and look at it from his perspective. As one of the up and coming managers in the game - who receives acclaim from most people involved in football - he knows that his current trajectory will eventually land him in the hot seat at one of the biggest clubs in Europe and in all likelihood, as national team manager one day. Ten Hag doesn't need to be concerned about finances (He could manage Ajax for the next 40 years and live an amazing lifestyle) so he has the luxury of being able to be in his own driving seat as far as his career goes.

At this stage of his life, is it worth the pressure of coming here? It's clearly a disjointed team who need a lot of bad habits coached out of them, and he will be arguably the moist under pressure manager in the world with a fanbase that has expectations of an immediate return to major trophies. Plus, he has never had to manage the ego's like we have at Old Trafford, and for a lot of coaches, they prefer working with players who are easier to manage both on and off the field.

Sure, it should be a pre-requisite for any top level manager that they are willing to put themselves in the melting pot and take the reigns of one of the biggest sporting institutions on the planet, but I wouldn't blame him for wanting to stay clear. We just put him in the list of potential new managers like it's not even a question he would want to come, but I think that type of mentality is part of the reason there is such a disconnect around the club. We should acknowledge the things going wrong, and communicate very clearly to any potential new hire that this is still a process, but we trust that you will raise the level of output from this group of players utilizing your philosophy.

If United come for Ten Hag he will swim across the channel. You vastly underestimate United's global appeal. Ajax are great, but they're completely dwarfed by United in terms of appeal. Or salary for that matter.

The poll is proof that 7.3% of the Caf support either one of our rivals or Ajax.

Surely any sensible United fan wants some of what Ten Hag is serving.
