Would you take Koeman?

He has always been crap. Never Been a good manager so no.

Only reason he gets the Barcelona Job is because he is Dutch- it's like how I think Moyes gets the United job for being Scottish.

We have to get Big Sam in as caretaker. Would be amazing.

I get the logic but there's no guarantee a permanent boss would get the new manager bounce and then not fall off a cliff either. Isn't winning games all you can ask of whoever comes in?

So we should just hire the best manager available which currently I think is clearly Conte. Especially when our team is tactically clueless and he's one of the best tactical managers in the world.

Conte would also force his own staff in so we'd get rid of Mates FC which I think is equally as important as a new manager.

All sites have suspended bets on Koeman and BBC are now running with the story that he will take over after the Spurs game regardless of the result until the end of the season.

It's over people Koeman is coming.

Van Gaal's footballing philosophy is actually based on what he learnt from Koeman

the glazers have already been seen giving him a tour around some of the grounds they expect koeman to beaten at over the next three years. they’ve just finished a whistle stop tour of macclesfield.

"And Ronald, look over here - it's your grave."

Why take Koeman when we can have Phil Jones?

No one else puts their head in the ring like Phil Jones!

There's not been much to smile about around MU or the CAF recently, but some of the comments in this thread made me laugh out loud, so thanks for that.

Latest news from the Netherlands is that he's currently contemplating to change his name to Ronaldo Koeman in order to create a strong bond with Cristiano from the start.

No, he hasn't proved himself a top manager.

At least Barcelona act like a big club and hold a manager accountable for failure. Compare and contrast with United. As much as I love Ole, it isn't working and we need a top manager who can compete with Klopp, Pep and Tuchel.

If this happened, I wouldn't have seen a more desperate move in football in my entire life.

I think the club should look for an upcoming British manager to come in on an interim basis. Apparently the Rangers manager is quite good?
