Thought we were wank against Newcastle tbh, bar the last 20 minutes when DvB came on and changed it. We were excellent against PSG and Ole got it spot on. Back to being wank again tonight unfortunately. Dan James :wenger:

Does anyone actually think we will win either the Premier League or Champions League under Ole? In a season where the results are crazy and anyone could win the league, it's telling that no one actually thinks United will.

Can you say that for any manager except maybe Klopp and Pep?

Everyone thought Mou would win the title, don't think anyone saw Klopp winning PL before the 17/18 season. One can say the same for Poch as he didn't manage to win the league with a decently strong Spurs side at a time when the league was at its lowest

In most other seasons, today's result would be absolutely acceptable. However the reality is that we set up not to lose and came away with a point, which gives us a total of 7 points from a possible 15... an even worse start than the season Mourinho imploded. And this is with Arsenal and Everton to come in our next two fixtures.

Absolutely not interested in catchphrases like 'Ole Out' and I'd love for him to take us to the top, however we surely have a real problem if this has become an acceptable start to a season?

This happens when manager is so secured in his job. He nonchalantly choses players who haven't been performing for months and then smile like in-your-face at the end.

You guys used to be able to feast on home defeats from Burnley to make identical posts.

But the food on the table must be very scarce if you have to moan so viciously after a 0-0 home draw vs Chelsea.
Oh be quiet.

If you enjoyed that, good on ya lad.
It was utter dross and no matter who tinted your glasses you won’t spin it better than that.

15th in the table, no wins at home this season, another bore draw and the man is smiling  . What a loser
Absolute state of him and lampard smiling after that turdfest

Pathetic from 2 small-time managers
At least Lampard has been in management for only 2 years. Ole has been in a management for 10 years. Same amount of time as Guardiola, let that sink in

So we are now happy because we shut down Chelsea at OT and won a point. Shouldn't be other way around?
Squad quality is not excuse anymore. We have quality squad now. And our manager decided to put quality players on bench and to go with "hard working" team in a home game where 3 points would be crucial.
Ole today had all options available. And still he decided to play like underdog. Even "hated" managers like LVG and Jose had "we are Man Utd" approach at OT.

Its fecking embarrassing, a draw against another top team and we still have "fans" spewing bile. It was a shite game to watch, but both sides defended really well and looked off the boil in attack.

Some absolute garbage being posted in here.

I think the best one was how dare Ole and Lampard smile after the match?

Not even his fan boys, they do not have the guts to say that.

It's the infancy of the start of the season, we have played three home games and won none.

To the fans who are calling out other fans for lack of support, you need to have a long hard look in the mirror and question if the word 'ambition' means anything to you. I've said it time and time again as bad as the owners are, some of the fans are just as inept when it comes to the ideology of monitoring progress and the club moving forward.

Another whatless result along with a below standard performance. Loss to Palace / Spurs battering and now firing up a blank against one of the worst defensive Chelsea sides in the last decade. That is the only context you need.
It's obvious that people's perception of us has little to do with what United do on the pitch and much more to do with what all other teams do.

- 66 points? - Well we got third so the other teams did worse = progress (despite 66 points being our tally the previous season, but other teams did better then so 66 points somehow makes us poor sometimes and good sometimes depending on how other teams do). However, if Leicester hadn't dropped 34 points from 17 games and Chelsea 21 then 66 points wouldn't have been any real progress by their logic. I wonder what those people think of our league position now?
- 7 points from 5 games? Well all teams who went far in Europe struggle here, look at City! It's fatigue! No pre-season! But they're match fit for Newcastle and PSG!

And now we have Ole saying post-match that it was evident that the two sides played in Europe, so blaming fatigue again. Isn't it his job to make his players able to play twice a week, especially this season?

This thread.,. Oh my. So many Football Manager players in here.

Doesnt take a genius to figure out you dont start James and Mata in this game.
Yes people from this board would have played the right line up at least. Ole's team selection for this game was shocking.

When i think about it, lets be positive and make another Ole thread. "Whoop, whoop, cleen sheet against Chelsea. Progress".

If he was sacked tomorrow, would any of the media or rival fans think it was harsh? Would there be any outrage over it? I think we all know the answer.

No you're not supposed to be happy but it's not the end of the world as some are painting it.

We're in the middle of a tough run of games and are unbeaten since the last break. If we stay that way until the next international break and the team shows improvement while integrating Cavani, Telles and Donny I'll take it.

People do realize that we have a game in hand vs Burnley right? Win that and suddenly we jump from 15th to 4th or 5th and it doesn't look that bad then, does it?

You don't? Says who? Kids in here? Mata has been very good and James usefull (maybe not today).

People also realise we may not win this game and potentially lose it.

Wasn't it other way around though. It was chelsea who played for a draw and were saved by their keeper.
