Chelsea aren't firing him because he was brought in only due to the transfer ban. If he'd spent like Ole, oooooooh I think he'd be in some trouble right now.

We were 6th when Mourinho got fired after what only can be described as complete self sabotage, and we had a 44% win-rate.

We're 6th now, with a 36% win-rate (dropping all the time), I hate to say it but we'll likely be 9th after the Bridge with a 34% win-rate.

I find it absolutely heartbreaking but nothing can be done now, we have to hope Ole's new additions and returns from injury can turn the tide because he's going nowhere.

Because, as you said, he's just not very good and the longer he stays, the more he proves what a terrible appointment he was.
 
I can’t get over why he waited until the 87th min to make subs.

Id still keep for now but I’ll be surprised if Poch isn’t approached at some point

Thats what pisses me off, that kind of statements is just celebrating mediocrity. He’s a failure, shouldnt be anywhere near this club anymore. Loser mentality, just imagine the squad hearing that statement.

Why? If he's not good enough to be our manager (based on his CV alone if you will) what in that cv says he should have a larger role above? That would be more fantasy football - still believing someone can do what they have never shown evidence of doing, because we want them to do so.

Because they are good managers that have worked their way up in the game, learning and improving as they have moved through leagues, and deserve an opportunity to be given a chance with a better team. Where as we have embraced nepotism and sentimentality.

I love my grandmother, but I wouldn’t let her do my job.
 
Get him gone. He's completely and utterly unsuitable, probably the inappropriate manager I've ever seen at one of the big English clubs ever.

The man is a lottery winner, a faker, he does not belong in such a prestigious role and deep down he knows that himself - he doesnt exude confidence and his laughing and grinning is pure nervousness; he knows he looks like an idiot out there and he can't do a thing about it.

We wouldn't have a single member of the Sheff United team in our starting 11, there is no argument there whatsoever. So why are they above us in the league and why do they play far more coherent and progressive football than we do? Simple answer - they are a better coached team.

GET HIM GONE. And he can take every single coach with him, because this club needs a complete reboot on the training field.

We’re a laughing stock of a the league keeping with such a shite manager just throwing away the season

Another Ole masterclass.

He persists with the worst player to pull on an United shirt in the last 20 years. Andreas couldn't do the job at DM so he moves our ONLY creative midfielder in Bruno Fernandez to DM and plays Pereira as a no.10. Pereira again terrible their so instead of taking him off he moves him to LW where he's also useless. Eventually Ole makes the change on the 71st minute. He then doesn't get dalot or lingard warmed up either and just throws them on with 4 minutes to go risking further injuries to our team.

Oles win ratio is 36%. People can bang on about the owners and Woodward but the coaching is atrocious. Look at Sheffield United. They are a team full of bang average players yet tactically they are so much superior.

If they had the talent that Ole has at his disposal they would comfortably be in the top 4.

Just think about that.... SUFC are a team full of championship players yet with 13 or 14 games left they are ahead of United. Once more you watch them and they are brilliant and effective considering the limited ability in their players.

United who have spent probably gross close to 200m for this season and Ole can't get a decent tune out of them.

Let's look at corners again, we are at the top for worst attacking and worst defending them.

What is it that Ole does during the week? Coaching certainly isn't it. We only have one way of playing and it's absolutely dross.

Legend or not he isn't good enough by a long long way.

This is nothing to do with those that run the club, this is totally to do with the poor decisions before the game, during the game and his terrible interviews after where he watches a completely different game to the rest of us.

Ole your out of your depth son. Do the honorable thing and walk away

Can't remember the last time I watched us play coherent football. Similar issue under Mourinho, although probably for different reasons.
 
I can't believe 29% believe Ole is the man to rebuild us. After watching everything if that's their conclusion, safe to say we are fecked. Not because they have any influence on reality. But it's a reflection of general feeling. And of course our owners and board would much prefer Ole to continue (cheaper and face of cheap rebuild) and if this is the feeling in fans....
 
Get him gone. It’s beyond a joke. He’s not going to get better with better players folks. He doesn’t know what to do with good players. Everyone is just doing there own thing.

Fairs fair, so surely we should have a poll like this on Ed as well. He is merely an employee, so like the rest should be judged on results.

I think it would be fairly unanimous.

The cameras cut to the players sitting watching the game, then a period of time went past and they where put on. Even the commentary passed a surprised remark about it.

But even if the reality was different to the way it seemed, making 2 subs with 4 minutes to go is pointless.

Can we claim Ed doesn’t have the money to perform to the best of his ability when signing players. Also can we also say that Ed’s staff aren’t good enough?
 
He's part of the Deadwood we need to get rid of. He's struggling to get something from the talented players and has decided to keep players we shouldn't keep. He's part of the problem. We need radical action but sadly thelose that run the country don't seem to think so.

I'm still wondering how some see progress. Surely all that is made up? Either that or I've post the plot. Bless those that think he'll get the club back to the top.

They usually go out in threes and then sit back down and rotate with the other subs. Agree on the timing though. Dalot should've come on 20 minutes earlier but I think he was happy with a point.

I'll give you one. Chris Wilder. He is currently doing better than Ole with a worse squad of players. Wilder would kill to work with some of this lot. The same wouldn't be said for Ole and Sheff Utd's squad.

So forget your fecking Klopp, Pep kopouts to defend this absolute fraud of a manager. You have a bloke above Ole in the table who is doing better than Ole with a squad full of Championship calibre players.

So yeah, there's ONE manager who do better than Ole with this squad. Take your heads out of your fecking arses.

It is incredible the amount of mental gymnastics people are going to, to defend this manager. 'No manager in the world' - what an absolute cnut fest of an excuse. Klopp wouldnt win the title with this team, but theyd be comfortably top 2. Same for Pep. In fact, same for bloody Rodgers. I would never want Chris Wilder managing United but the man is shitting all over Ole in terms of his performance and what he has to work with. Ole is an absolute fraud, he is the Mikey Carroll of football management - a lottery winner who has been thrown into a world in which he lacks the ability to survive.
 
Hard decisions have to be made at some point. It was easy to appoint, sacking him will be difficult due to his status. But it needs to be done. We will all be happier. Dont feck it up Ed

Yeah I can see this happening. Gives Ed a way out of the storm that's building. He can claim it was all part of his cunning plan from the start.
Don't think for one minute that that he won't throw Ole under the bus. If it saves his own neck for another while he won't hesitate.

I just don’t get this opinion. Ole is shite & has to go regardless of what’s happening behind the scenes. We are so badly coached why is he getting so much leeway? It’s ridiculous
 
It doesn’t matter who we appoint lads, any team that has Perreria, Lingard, Mata, James and Martial as regular starters will never finish in the top 4, our recruitment is absolutely fecked over the last few seasons and we’ve only just started getting it right again. The magic new manager bounce won’t save us until we get better players in.

It’s like playing solitaire with 51 cards at the moment.
