The good news is that Real are off our backs for a while because surely De Gea is now worth over 120 million.

You guys, I'm proud of how well you're coping without signings.

I suppose everyone has known since Mourinho's conference this morning, so the news should be fairly well digested by even the most ardent muppets by now. It is obviously disappointing, as we're going into the season with one hand tied behind our backs and little prospect of improvement relative to last year, but it is what it is. No point crying over spilt milk etc etc let's just beat Leicester.

The transfer market is really interesting at the moment! When I was a lad in the early to late 90's if United wanted a player we'd get them; the smaller clubs would bow down and accept they couldn't stop the great Man United getting their prized asset! Even teams like Tottenham. Now there is so much money at all the clubs, there's no need for them to sell! It makes more sense keeping them, staying in the league and reaping the Premier League prize money!

This deadline day is nearly as boring as our pre season games...

The biggest disappointment of this transfer window : NO FLIGHT TRACKING.

There. I feel better now after shouting my biggest disappointment in caps lock.

It is so wrong to close the window waaaay before August 31th when in all other countries it goes longer. If we had 22 more days transfers would definitely happen.

I agree. And if we don't bring in a central defender in the next two hours then we're going to struggle to get 4th. I think Chelsea and Liverpool have improved significantly, and one of Everton, Wolves, Fulham and Spurs will challenge for a top 4 spot.
Spurs have done nothing, Chelsea have massively down graded their keeper and upgraded their midfield, pool could be better but saying Fulham wolves and Everton will challenge for top 4 because spent a few million is ridiculous

Is there literally nothing? Not even the scent of a rumour about anyone?
Perhaps Woody is too busy trying to stuff £90m of £50 notes into suitcases and waiting for his cab to Leicester to arrive?

I'm actually confused, did Fulham sign any players that would even suggest they'll be in the top half of the table? I know Wolves are pretty decent but Fulham??

Nah, he's probably masturbating furiously over a rotavator our new agriculture sponsors gave him.

I wouldn't say Chelsea haven't massively downgraded their 'kepa'.

Although it's too early to tell, I feel Liverpool and City have done good business.

Poor SSN they're trying so hard to turn Deadline Day into something special.
