Then make your contribution to the Transfer forum feckwit, instead of messing up this thread with your retarded shit.

And to continue from that..

Our keeper situation is pathetic, we have a bunch of better goalies sitting at home sipping beer instead of participating. Bäckstrom is without a doubt better than Norrena, but still made a bad mistake today.

We are poor at the moment, must be said.

You sure beat us 5-1 or so ;)

Aye, might have made a slight over-estimation there...even a Modano that has not played for a year seems to be able to take the piss out these idiots. been a shite tournament so far...good thing it will be over soon.

Our coaching staff should be fired, the goalkeepers and quite few of these players should never play again for the national team. Oh well, atlast Jarkko Ruutu scored today.

We should never have sacked Summanen. :(

Agree, these new morons are a disaster. Risto Dufva :wenger: , jeezuz fecking christ, what is this man doing in the national team as an assistant. Hockeys equivalent of Houllier and Benitez, defensive and boring.

They also kicked out all players who can score goals, Kuhta, Saarela and have fecking deadwood like Hahl, Eloranta and Ville Peltonen should be moved to the third or fourth line, he is making the HIFK man Olli Jokinen look ineffective. Now Olli is playing with 2 wimps, Kallio and Peltonen, they need to add someone with physical ability to that line and as Kallio is the better player and thus Peltonen should move. Jussi Jokinen has been a positive surprise. Our first line is poor, remember that the same thing happened when Peltonen played with Selanne and Koivu, he is useless against top opposition.

And please god let Canada crush Sweden today, anything but a total humiliation of the Swedes would be a surprise. Will be interesting to see where Swedens tough guys like Hedström will be hiding in this game, considering he was nowhere to be found when Jarkko Ruutu was looking for him..

Good win for Sweden, I am quite impressed. There I was complimenting the Canucks, and the Swedes go and get a win. And of course, we also have to play the Swedes, which is a bummer needless to say.

Sweden played well. Brodeur surprisngly shite however and let them in the game. Canada traditonally use these group games to play themselfs into form and when it comes to a keeper like Brodeur who hasn't played for a year, this is more important. Candada will be lethal in the playoffs, the 4 goals they scored were fecking awesome and you could see they weren't motivated today, the current finnish squad wouldn't even be able to score goals like that.

Sweden had 4 lucky goals mainly due to Broedurs mistakes so it doesn't exactly show much, and the last one was extremely nice. Pahlsson is a great player but when the playoffs start I doubt they will have much to match the best with. The goals came as fluke chances and not through them being superior. The swedes top their form at the wrong time as usual, will be fun to read the press later on as they will probably be the best team in the world today and tomorrow in the press :) And the swedish hockey experts have already ranked Lundqvist, a player yet to stand a second in the NHL as goalkeeper, as the best keeper in the world

The Czech rep looked awesome today. Finland will certainely not get by the first play-off round.

Now we even have a new keeper, who is 10 kilos overweight atleast. Anyways, with Nurminen and Karalahti we sure as hell are going to have the best parties around. Anyways, we couldn't care less about these world championsips, it is the world cup and the canada cup that matters ;)

It's the 7th game that matters.

No suprise that. Have you ever seen their Handboll team play?
In that team everybody is "worldclass, topclass and one of the best in the world etc. :wenger:

feckin Swedes. :tard:

 , yeah, their fascination with handball is amazing. Equally fascinating is their deciation to ping-pong and bandy (there are FOUR teams in the world that plays this sport) and the Swedes write page up and page down on how impressive it is that they won the world championships. If I remember correctly Finland was beat them in this a few years ago, and we have what? 50 players in total. During my 30 years, I am yet to meet anyone who plays Bandy (don't know if there's a english word for this game, jääpallo in finnish anyways)

And then their athletics department  Their 2 stars Kluft who is the best in the world in a sport that has like 100 competitors worldwide, gets voted athlete of the year instead of Annika Sorenstam. And a homosexual wearing cycle pants and competing in long jump, Olsson, gets sponsor contracts for millions in sweden because the swedes find him so amazing.

Their fascination with absolutely retarded sports is amazing. Atleast we focus on world sports, shot-put, javelin, formula 1, rally, ice-hockey, indoor hockey and football and alpine skiing. Cross country was decent until the entire team unfortunately was banned from using doping :) And then we could all read how the Finns had a tradition of using illegal substances as in the swedish papers as there was a finn that was caught during the 60s or 70s was it..

Bah our players were tired after the Canada game :(

What a kick ass win today. 5-1!!!

I can only hope this continues.

Excellent result for you. Unfortunately we let our lead slip against Canada twice. Referee was piss poor as well.

wonder what excuses Ahmed will come up with next, he seems to be full of them after every game Finland plays

The ref took away a goal from us.

:tard:

I know why AEBM calls the Finns the nordic scousers now

Yeah, the referee took away a perfect legit goal against Canada. Should have been 3-0 at that point. Was poor again.

Today there is however no expaining, Finland was shite and deserved the draw. Hopefully Sweden loses to Latvia so we never have to watch this Finnish team again. I fully expect these fecking coaches to be sacked and never to see some of these players again in the national team. This game was a bore, actually had to do some zapping as it was so fecking pathetic.

 at the Finns

Not much to laugh about for you..played even with the best team in the tournament and lost on penalties..

You barely beat Swizerland and can be happy you are through.

Think I mentioned it earlier in this thread, i.e. that we would not be bad when in the playoffs, you on the contrary were dire.

Finally a finn in a decisive role!

Unfortunately for the russians it was a finnish referee and not the team.
