Well, if you have to lose, better do it now. Sweden are as usual quite good at the start of the tournament but will probably not make it when it starts for real, i.e. the seventh game.

Finland has a lot to improve though, good thing with this game is that Backstrom will be in goal in the future and Norrena will not be let near the goal. Rest of the team had a day off. Despite that Sweden was hardly convincing considering Finland has their worst game ever. The referee gifted Sweden the second goal, the other three Finland more or less put in the goal themselfs.

And this referee should NEVER be allowed to ref a game in the world championships, he was fecking poor. It is difficult to say if I have ever seen a worse one, he found penalties where there wasn't any, on a constant basis. A good indication of this was that you could not get a replay of any of the penalties we got as well, no-one knew where the feck they came from, not even the director. fecking bizarre, but I take it the real refs enter later on in the tournament and this is sort of a test to let the newcomers try it out.

Not a big deal, was a fecking shit game and I wish I had watched football instead. We were poor but this happens, these games are however used to build up momentum. The most positive thing is that we will get Bäckstrom in goal permanently. The other positive, Finland had their worst game ever and Sweden still needed Finland to give away three of the goals, i.e. Sweden did not create them.. As this was the absolute low, there is something to build on.
