I'd give Donny a full 90 mins, with the freedom to play where he wants. Let's really see if we signed the guy we thought we did or his Faroe Island twin brother...
What are you hoping to see from him? he'll never be a roaming playmaker like Fernandes which people seem to be hoping for.

    Henderson
    Williams Lindelof Tuanzebe Telles
    VDB Matic
    Amad Hannibal James
    Greenwood

Bench: Grant, Bailly, AWB, Mata, Elanga, Shoretire, Cavani

Predicted Score: Wolves 1-1 Man Utd (Greenwood)

How can i choose Hannibal Mejbri in the lineup prediction table if he's not even in the list of players ?! :(

Have their loans officially ended now?
The end of the loan doesn't matter. Players being able to play are covered by the transfer windows. This is why if a player's loan is ended early he can't play first team football again until the next transfer window.

Unsure if they can play youth football but I think so.

    Henderson
    Williams Bailly Tuanzebe Telles
    Van de Beek Matic
    Amad Mata Rashford
    Greenwood

Hopefully able to take off Mason and Marcus early for some of the young lads.

I think there's the possibility that Bailly/Tuanzebe and Greenwood/Rashford are fighting for a place in the Europa League final starting XI. So, they could be given some time in this game to change Ole's mind.

A lot could rest on how fit McTominay is by Wednesday as well though. I'm convinced Ole wants to start the final with McFred, but if Scott isn't fit, I don't think he'd replace him with Matic. I think he'd just trust Pogba in CM and start all of Greenwood, Cavani & Rashford.

I think we play our strongest team, we need some momentum.

I think we play our strongest team, we need some momentum.
It's a quandary. We really can't afford to play our strongest team with a final in a few days time. But, thanks to the impact from 4 games in 8 days and the makeshift selections that brings about, we really could do with regaining some rhythm and momentum going into that final.

But, for me, the opportunity to rest key players after a busy, haphazard couple of weeks (and a long season) and trying to avoid unnecessary injuries, overrides the small gain in momentum that a win in a dead rubber match would bring.

It's a shame if we lose our unbeaten away record. But it's an even bigger shame if we miss out on a trophy on Wednesday. So whatever's deemed the best preparation for that has to be the priority for Ole today.

It's Nuno's last game in charge of Wolves, they've got their fans back after 15-16 months so they'll surely be up to it. I don't see us winning tbh, would be happy with a draw as pessimistic as that may sound.

Given the situation, that doesn't sound pessimistic at all. A draw would be a very good effort given the fact we're very likely to be resting key players and will have more than one eye on the final.

Also, as you say, a game that, on paper, means nothing for either club suddenly has more relevance for Wolves with it being their managers final match, and their supporters being there for the first time in over a year. They also have no reason to rest players so it'll be their regulars against, in all likelihood, a mix of our youth and understudies.

I'll be delighted with a draw, given that, even with our strongest team selected, they've mostly been been tight matches between the two sides. It'll be a very good effort for our weakened team to avoid defeat and keep our unbeaten away record going.

Horrible little game to finish on isn't it. Wolves away, with their fans back. Fully expecting a more tumescent performance than against Fulham. Think Ole to rest quite a few, and our away record to die on the final day.

Still think we'll win on Wednesday though!

It will be great to see some kids play. It is just a shame that it has to be against the shite that is Wolves.

Off the bench: Mejbri, Shoretire, Bailly

MEN. Hardly trustworthy and likely someone guessing...

"Leaked XI vs Wolves: Henderson; Williams, Bailly, Jones, Telles; Matic, Van de Beek, Mata; Amad, Greenwood, Elanga."
It's believable, as it's only really 3 places that are uncertain - GK, CB, #9.

Jones being 'fit', or at least available, is unexpected but would help rest either Tuanzebe or Bailly - whichever Ole intends to partner Lindelof in the final - although he's likely to put in an awful performance having not featured for absolutely ages.

Whichever #9 Ole goes for is the one likely to be on the bench for the final. So probably either Greenwood or Rashford as Cavani will almost certainly start against Villarreal. And I think its more likely to be Greenwood today with Rashford on Wednesday.

Jones back a shocker. For next season they'll have to find out who is doing the leaking.

Europa league final team looks to be

    DeGea
    Wan-Bissaka Tuanzebe Lindelof Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    Bruno
    Rashford. Pogba
    Cavani

Jones is apparently playing today. All the best to him.

Hopefully his last ever game for us and if we can't sell him, then just let him go.

Can't have dead weight around. No one does it like we do.

If true, there’s still a strong chance Jones could get injured between now and kick off.....

Who will get injured first? Jones or Bailly?

Can’t wait to see Hannibal in the Premier League.

Phil Jones to collide with Eric Bailly in the 20th minute while defending a set piece and put them both out of action for 3 months?
