The thing is all of these 'slumps' had different factors at the heart of them.
There is no pattern between the causes to think that if the team hits a slump, it can't get out of it. We've not won any of the games we've not needed to win over the past two weeks. If any of those were must-win games I think we'd have seen a different performance. He last featured for United in the FA Cup against Tranmere Rovers in the 19/20 season on 26th January 2020. It seems he was last in a matchday squad (as an unused sub on the bench) on the 17th February 2020 in the same season in a league game against Chelsea.
He has yet to feature this season.
He’s a young lad that Ole is giving some minutes to. Heard him being a very good defender. If he’s any good, he’ll be a new signing for us next season.

He's had a full season out, and only played 8 last season.
Will certainly be interesting if he did start, and if the lineup is anywhere near the "leak".
Especially as Ole gave the impression it'd only be a few changes.

I imagine people are hoping to see goals - from the goal scoring midfielder that we bought from CL semi-finalists for a sizeable fee - and the technical ability to link up in attacks, and assist in goals and attacks that way, as he showed at Ajax, while not being an actual playmaker.
On here, as with most debates nowadays, there seems to be little room for the middle ground. Either he's 'rubbish' at one extreme, or anyone saying anything remotely negative is mocked at the other extreme. There's plenty of room to say the middle ground - that he's clearly a good player, as he's proven elsewhere, but, so far, there's very few positives to say about his time with us and so posting some negative comments, within context, are perfectly valid.More excited to see this young lad Phil Jones than Mejbri today.
