    Fletcher Carrick

    Mata VDB Amad

I agree with those saying full rotation ahead of the final. However, I actually think Lindelof should play 45-60 minutes with whoever his CB partner will be for Wednesday - I honestly have no idea who I'd pick between Bailly / Tuanzebe.

    Henderson

    Williams
    Lindelof
    Bailly / Axel
    Telles

    Matic
    VBD

    Amad
    Mata
    Elanga

    Rashford

    Martial off the bench hopefully

There is nothing at all to be gained by risking certain players here.
Don't care about the result, just keep Bruno away from the pitch.

    2 - 2

Guarantee we will use players from our starting XI but I really hope nobody even makes the field that will be on the pitch or bench in the final, I'd like to see:

    DDG
    Williams Bailly Tuanzabe Telles
    Matic VDB
    Diallo Mata James
    Martial

I'd imagine we will go with something like:

    DDG
    AWB Bailly Tuanzabe Shaw
    Fred Mctom
    Rashford Bruno Pogba
    Greenwood

Really hope I'm wrong, the game literally means nothing

For once I am completley onboard just giving the kids a game in the PL, a full 90 mins against a team like Wolves can only be a good learning experience for many of them going into next season. Thinking mainly of Amad, Shola and Mejbri.

    Henderson
    Williams.....Bailly......Axel.......Telles
    Matic.....Donny
    Amad........Mejbri......Shola
    Martial
Something along the lines of this if Martial is fit enough. EL final 3 days later, not worth any silly risks and one game won't affect us too much going into the final I don't think.

We don't want to lose this game because you want to be undefeated on the road all season. Rest Rashford, Fernandes and Cavani and play some of the squad players, but play a team strong enough to get a draw at least. Tricky bit of team management for Ole.

I reckon Ole is afraid of losing this away record. He'll play the borefest team: Mata, Matic, VdB, James, Bailly, Telles, Williams etc. 0-0 or 1-1 since Wolves is shit too. Maybe recall Lingard just to make it more boring.

There is literally no chance that’s the team. We’re an injury to Shaw or Bruno away from really struggling in the Europa final

I expect James will play if he is fit, not so sure on Martial as it was a longer term issue and so I can't see anything more than a cameo from the bench. Cavani will rest and we will see either Greenwood or Rashford in as striker, basically whichever one is not going to start on Wednesday so probably Mason.

    Henderson

    Williams
    Bailly
    NE Juan
    Telles

    Matic
    Van de Beek
    Mata

    Amad
    Hugh Cares
    Elanga

I wouldn’t play anyone we think will play in the final. Result means nothing.

    Henderson
    Williams - Tuanzebe - Fish - Telles
    Donny - Matic
    Amad - Mata - James
    Martial
What’s the point in playing mata? We need to give Mejbri his debut

    Grant
    Williams Lindelof Tuanzebe Telles
    Matic VBD
    Amad Mata Elanga
    Shoretire
Ole to extend his record of winding people up by playing Grant to keep everyone guessing who of De Gea or Henderson will play in the final. As a true artiste, he'll look to wind more people up by bringing on Rashford as a sub. Bailly to replace Lindelof after an hour as well.

    Surely a game for mejbri
I'm sure Mejbri will make his debut at some point during the game.

But I don't think Ole will throw all the attacking kids in from the start - he'll mix them with some experienced players to help those starting - and so it's about which start and which appear as sub.

I love watching Hannibal Mejbri with the U23's, but he's probably behind Elanga, and certainly Amad, at the moment in terms of being ready for senior football. And about the same as Shoretire. So Ole might go in with a similar starting choice to the Leicester game, but this time give Hannibal and Shoretire sub appearances.

Personally, I'd love to see Hannibal start from the left instead of Elanga as I love watching him on the ball. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Elanga get the start and Hannibal feature as sub.

    What gives you this impression?

For me Mejbri is the most talented of the lot. It's only his aggression that gets him into trouble, but that's born out of getting kicked 100 times a match. In a proper premier league match that wouldn't happen.

If anything he reminds me of Pogba, playing in a league that is a bit too easy for him and needs to step up ASAP to start getting to the next level.

    Henderson
    Williams Bailly Tuanzebe Telles
    VDB Matic
    Amad Mata Martial

I’d probably play Lindelof and Tuanzebe again just to give them some more minutes together to build something of a partnership before the final. Would play whichever GK is gonna start with them as well.

Rest of the team can be largely rotated with fitness in mind.

Hoping to see 90 minutes of Amad.

Yeah, Hannibal is hugely talented and I love watching him play and I hope we get to see him make his debut on Sunday - which I hope came across in my post.

I was just saying that I felt Ole thought that, at this stage, Amad and Elanga were ahead of the other two in terms of being more ready for senior football physically and temperament wise, rather than technically or potential wise. Elanga is 19, so a year or two older than Hannibal and Shoretire (who's 17), and Amad was clearly bought more as a raw youngster for the first team squad, rather than with much involvement in the U23's in mind.

And so, I just felt, because I expect to see a mix of youth and experience - rather than all the kids thrown in at once - that he might go with Amad and Elanga as starters, alongside the likes of Mata, and introduce Hannibal and Shola later as subs.

But, hopefully, because the game means less than the Leicester one, he'll go with the better long term prospect and give Hannibal a start instead of Elanga. I'd love to see Hannibal, Mata and Amad link up.

I think we will see a similar team that we played against Leicester, i'd definitely have Mejbri on the bench at least.

Even if he subs on for one of the wingers, but i'd happily play him as a 10 or an 8.

I think we will sub on Martial and James around the 60 mark to give them some minutes also.

I honestly think - despite how poor Wolves have been lately - that are unbeaten away record will go. 1-0 or 2-0 to them

Do we need to play goalkeeper and CBs who'll start in the final to try and get some continuity?

    De Gea
    Williams Lindelof Tuanzebe Telles
    Matic Donny
    Amad Mata James
    Martial
Hopefully James and Martial are fit and can get some minutes to give us bench options for the final.

I think so too. Give them time to work together in a defensive setup.

I'd like to see us line up in a 433.

    DDG
    Williams Taunzebe Lindelof Telles
    Hannibal Matic VdB
    Amad Martial James

Another loss for a spectaluar collapse to the end of the campaign. Players will showboat and coast and lose. The manager will be all smiles at the end of the day.

The loss to Leicester was unforgivable. Will you join me in calling for the sacking of everyone?

2012 the last time United have beaten Wolves in Molineux.

Last 4 matches 2 defeats, 2 draws. That run will likely continue and let's be honest Uniteds reserves will do well to avoid defeat.

No way will OLE risk his first choice FIT defender Lindelof.. Will be a goodbye game for some of the squad no doubt...matic, mata,Grant poss telles

Are we allowed to play Garner/ Menghi /Laird and others who have returned from loan?If so id chuck em in.

    HENDERSON

    Williams BAILLY AXEL (C) telles
    matic VDB Galbraith

    MATA MARTIAL JAMES

subs: fish, diallo, shoretire, mjebri, elanga, fernandez, grant

    0-0

Wolves have been shit since November and our domestic campaign has fizzled out

Obviously going to rest the starting 11 but we should definitely play Diallo VDB and James (if ready). Each might come in handy so they need some gametime.

I think the XI vs Fulham will be the team for the final and that they all get rested. Other than Tuanzebe, got a feeling Maguire makes it...

    Henderson
    Williams Bailly Tuanzebe Telles
    VdB Matic
    Amad Mata Hannibal
    Rashford
Martial coming on for Rashford after about an hour.
