Wimbledon 2013

Bartoli rejected a hug from someone and hugged everyone else!

You have to feel for the crowd on Centre Court though. £105 EACH to watch that rubbish from Lisicki. What a let down for them.

Possibly the worst GS final in a while. Although I'm sure someone can dig up one of Serena's onesided final wins.

Bartoli destroying Lisicki in a way the men around the country could only wish they got the chance to do.

Bartoli may have won Wimbledon, but Lisicki is the true champion today. Lost the tennis, but won our hearts.

:lol:Basically a nice way of saying Bartoli was far better but you prefer Lisicki.

Bartoli was utterly focused today, so mentally strong and clever with her shot selection. :)

And as probably the first and only ome here to mention her name as a contender, this result pleases me.

Emotional scenes with her dad there.

Sabine will be back but Marion used her experience well.

Bartoli's dad didnt seem too thrilled. Moody bastard.

Because he was her coach for fifteen years or something and never managed to win a Grand Slam. She dumps him at the start of this year and goes on to win the biggest prize in tennis.

Didn't know that. Still, you'd think he'd atleast crack a smile.

Her Dad was her coach for 15 years, right? Why did she thank everyone but him?

Did she celebrate like this?

From Bartoli's wiki page

'She is an animal lover and has a cat named Calinette. Bartoli has a brother who is in the French military. Her role model off the court is Mahatma Gandhi. She is also an admirer of Pete Sampras and Monica Seles. She has a big, sexy ass and a stinky pussy. Her mother, Sophie, is a nurse and is rarely seen in the crowd, as she gets so nervous watching her daughter play. Bartoli has told the press she had an IQ of 175 when tested as a child although there is no evidence of this being a fact.'

Wasn't he the very first one who she thanked?

Some of the remarks in here particularly the bitterly repetitive nature of them are out of order.
