I can say with conviction that you probably don't hate Andy Murray, and if you do then it's fairly sad.

Well that depends on what kind of hate you are referring to. I use it in general for players who annoy me and whose face I find annoying. I may actually find him very nice in person(if I met him). I just don't like him and hate is the word I use in general.
