Wimbledon 2013

Murray has to win this, if just to make sure there's hopefully someone to stop Djokovic from winning.

Don't see Verdasco winning anymore though, Murray is too clutch and Verdasco has always been kinda weak mentally.

I think you are wrong.

There are numerous examples of Murray playing against the top guys and outplaying or matching them. In my opinion Murray's just always been mentally weaker, by quite a distance, than all three of them which is why he has only the 1 Slam.

Well, they're better than him.

Why do you post that as some sort of negative?

Nadal to an extent, and Federer certainly, aren't as good as him anymore. Murray shouldn't be struggling through these matches but in all fairness to him actually his consistency has improved in that regard. He's gotten to at least the SF every year since 2008, and has reached the final of the last 3 GS's he's been in.

You see in those matches other may not have been at "their best" ? In grandslams he has lost to them mostly because that is where they usually play their best tennis. Just because he has beaten them in masters doesn't make him as good. People have this tendency to lay everything on "mental weakness". Its like a fashion now...I think it would be better if they accept that he probably isn't as good as other guys.

Just compare Murray to Djokovic, Djokovic is clearly better for me.

Only just saw Del Potro's injury. How good would this guy be by now if it wasn't for his injuries.

Got to admire Verdasco's fight here. I expected him to crumble after the last two sets but he's not making it easy certainly.

Wimbledon last year yes, I thought Murray and Fed both played their best or near enough to their best tennis and Murray was just beaten by the better player. However I think a lot of the time Murray's game drops where Djokovic's wouldn't. Aus Open this year Murray could not keep his best level going. I don't think Djokovic is clearly better, shot wise, there's not much at all between them. Djokovic is just extraordinary during the big points and crucial periods of matches. He relishes the big occasions in matches where others like Murray often fear losing them.

One of these commentators is such a boring shit, he's said nothing but shitty clichés.

A moment ago they started talking about the prize for the winner of this match. I mean come on.

Well chaps, this could well be it.

I just can't believe how hard this guy is hitting it after such a long match after not having put two matches together before this year. Just seems odd.

He's played well but Murray has been shocking. "here have a mid court high ball to smack"

Verdasco's record against Murray, Nadal and Federer is abysmal. Winning record against Djokovic but they really only played when Djok hadn't matured back in 2010.

Did he just go all in on that second serve again?? Damn that dude has balls of steel.
