Wimbledon 2012

I get the impression with Tsonga sometimes that when he goes behind, he starts thinking "ah, well I've fecked it already now, never mind", and then starts doing better as the mental thing becomes less of an issue.

That last game was the best of the match. Amazing stuff from Tsonga.

Yup. They should find a way to stop him from thinking.

This is why Murray struggles to beat Nadal, Fed and Djoko in slams consistently. Chokes when the chance is there to be taken.

He will probably beat Tsonga but Murray just lacks the cutting edge.

"Right, now I've got 2 break points. Good stuff. Oh wait, shit...I've got two break points! What if I lose them? This is my chance! Oh, bollocks, I've lost them. feck. Never mind.."

Rinse and repeat.

;)

Honestly Tsonga is bit of a madmen. So many errors.

The first time I wanted Murray to lose was also because of his mother. I remember her fist pumping after every point he won at a match at Wimbledon a few years back.

He'll probably lose this game thinking he'll break back right after.

It's fair play with Tsonga, I think. Tennis is so fecking infuriating. The second you start thinking you're fecked. I should imagine golf and snooker, say, are worse, but when you've got so much time to think in between games, prior to your opponents serve, etc...it's easy to understand how problems arise. Especially when there's so much room for error in tennis anyway.

In football, if you play for United say, you can just give it to Scholes a few times and that'll put your mind at ease. In tennis, there's this big, looming obstacle called a 'net', and it's always there in your way, and there's always some guy on the other end of it waiting to twat it back at you at 100mp/h.

Battle of the bottlers.
It's like last seasons title race.

2 match points. Fantastic

Well deserved. He was fantastic. Don't expect him to win but to get there shows some nerve that he's lacked in previous years.

feck off Tsonga. He's been nearly broken about a hundred times now.

Well done Murray.

Don't cry yet. You haven't won the title!
