I am hoping for a miracle:drool: Anyway, what she has achieved so far has been great, if she makes the final even better and then... who knows. At least she looks like a woman.
:lol::lol::lol:

I hate Serena with a passion. Hope she loses. Not happening though

I expect nothing lesser from the Great Roger Federer.

Nadal Murray won't be easy by any stretch of imagination though :nervous:

It wont be especially due to the 'home' factor in Murrays favour of course but i still fancy Nadal will win this in 4, Murrays first serve percentage is far to low to beat a player of Nadals quality and Nadal will butcher his second serve which is exactly how Federer murdered Murray in his 2 grand slam finals to date....the only way Murray can beat Nadal is by upping his first serve percentage by atleast 20 and even then itll be tough, his second serve is just far to weak and Nadal will pounce on it.

I personaly think Nadals biggest test in this championship was today and having come through it so well in the end i really fancy him to win this now, Murray has still to prove hes got the balls against the best when it matters and his first serve often goes missing in these situations, if he serves at 40 odd % against Nadal it will be over very quickly.

Nadal to win it in 4 sets is my prediction, Berdych to beat Djokovic in 5 and Nadal to win the final in 3.

:D

Federer

he'll turn up dead tomorrow, "Drowned in his own tears" will be the headlines the big cry baby.

Seriously though, Murray V Nadal should be epic. I think Nadal is playing too good right now but if Murray can make it a long match it could result in the old Nadal knee worry.

Infact it goes the distance I see Nadal winning it. If murray is to win he has to do it in 3 or 4 sets.

Well Murray seems to kind of have Nadal's number when it comes to Slams semi finals.

USO 08 and Aussie Open this year. But then well this is grass and it's definitely much slower and Nadal's in much better form.

And yes traditionally Murray's first serve percentage has always been his weak point. It's been quite low again this tournament. But Murray plays similar to Nadal in a way actually, keeps rallies long and does not make too many unforced errors.

Tsonga really bottled it in the tie break in the 2nd set though by letting that volley go instead of smashing it

So whats everyones feelings on the Semi final line up then?

Nadal v Murray

Djokovic v Berdych

What a tournament for Thomas Berdych this has been, he looked good at the French a few weeks ago i must say especially where he took Murray apart, massive serve which is always a big asset on grass and powerful groundstokres especially on the forehand side, i reckon he'll be to strong for Djokovic myself.

Berdych in 5 sets.

As for the Nadal Murray match up i think Nadals set on set all round game and high levels of consistency will prove to strong for Murray, Murray has to get the serve right from the off, we all know hes a great returner so if he can get his first serves in at around 70% (which he'll need to against Nadal) then he has a chance as he'll probably break Nadal a few times in the match, its how strong he can keep his own serve going, thats where i think this one will be won and lost, personaly as i said previously i dont think Murray will get enough first serves in (nothing in this tournament so far suggests it) and i fancy Nadal will tear into his very friendly second serve.

Nadal in 4 sets for me.

I see Federers doing his usual after a defeat, instead of praisng the opponent hes whinging about 'injuries' and finding the usual excuses for defeat etc etc, just cant stand the man can never just accept hes second best, theres always a reason, give credit where its due you arrogant has been.

Nice to see Rafa as classy as always, cant imagine Federer saying such a thing, Glad to see Nadal put Soderling in his place to, a comfortable 4 setter in the end, good job Rafa,

So im going for a Nadal - Berdych final :)

Er...except when he gave credit to his opponent and said he was the better player today...you mean?

"I'm definitely struggling at the moment," said the 29-year-old current world number two, who also fell in the quarter-finals at the French Open. "I'm looking forward to a rest and then I'll attack again in North America.

Ilija Bozoljac in the second. "I'm struggling with a little bit of a back and a leg issue. They don't allow me to play the way I would like to.

Yes it's indeed nice to see he's not blaming his injury on the defeat

I can't remember a final I've seen Federer lose where he hasn't praised the opponent. Give me an example where he loses a final and doesn't praise his opponent and instead blames his loss on injuries. One final loss please.

He is always praising Rafa when he loses for example, and that has to hurt for him.

I'm not really on either side of this argument, as I don't have a strong like or dislike for Federer, but why restrict your request to losses of a final? We only have to look at his comments today to see he has said injuries were behind his loss.

Because finals always have a big interview on the end. Because finals hurt more to lose and because finals is usually the only thing Federer loses in terms of Grand Slams.

Federer blamed injury today, but from what I know that is hardly typical of him. So I'd like to see some examples where he has done it before. The poster I quoted made it seem like it was usual for Federer to blame injuries when he lost, although that is not true at all.

Fed is only ever gracious in defeat when he loses to Rafa. Nadal has a lot of respect for Fed and Fed does too, a bit atleast.

It's his other losses where he loves to blame everything.
Like I pasted a quote here some pages back where he, suddenly, 3 months after he lost to Djokovic and Murray he blamed the defeats on various injuries.

Fed was graceful and praised Del Potro in the USO as well. Didn't complain about injuries there either.

Point is that he doesn't usually blame injuries, so you guys are basically making up stuff to suit your argument.

Listen to this when question about Murrays chances, (a very very obvious question given that it is wimbledon and he's the only brit playing).

"Yeah, I mean, true, Rafa played terribly lately. He's got an easy ride to this victory, that's for sure. Djokovic can't play tennis anymore it seems like."

So classy....

You realise the context that that's in, don't you? That he gets asked what Murray's chances are like in his own press conference again, so he responds incredibly sarcastically? Thing is, I'd expect anyone with an ounce of intelligence to understand that, so I suppose it's not entirely surprising that you've either totally missed the point or just decided to ignore it to suit your own little biases.

If you truly believe that he was being so childish there that he was slagging of Rafa and Novak then you're letting your childish little prejudices warp your personal reality. Then again, I suppose that would be nothing new from you.

Glad to see your bitterness isn't just confined to the football forums.

I have the feeling Murray isn't going to pull it off.

The miserable twat.

Djokovic looks so useless. He looks weak and his shots lack any sort of placement or power.

Wish he wins though. Would be easier for Nadal if he can beat Murray

On the flip side, if Murray manages to beat Nadal :nervous:
