It's papers inventing something that sounds believable because of past interest and a new signing that adds competition to a place in the squad for Chelsea so have the potential of letting go. This is one of those stories to generate clicks from eager United fans on deadline day. It's also the Sun and they're a fecking disgrace.

Willian would be ideal for us but surely Chelsea wouldn't make the same mistake twice in one Summer?

I'll take your word for it, that said I can't see Chelsea letting Willian go to us especially after how Matic has started for us.

I doubt it it'll happen myself. Not cause Jose wouldn't go for him on deadline day but because of what you've said and Chelsea seem to be struggling with their transfer window. Would be stupid to let him go imo.
 
We should be going all out for Willian after what happened with Matic. He'll probably be fecking exceptional for us on the right. Him and Valencia would terrorise the oppositions left side.
 
I'd absolutely love for us to sign him, but even if the Mahrez to Chelsea rumours are true, I just can't see Chelsea selling us Willian. He's been their best player so far this season and they've already been ridiculed all around for selling us Matic. Surely not..

Absolutely. 2 players with different qualities who play in different positions. Just signings for the sake of signings for some people.
 
Think he'd be great here and we could do with a right footed winger on the right, doubt there's any chance at all Chelsea will sell though.
 
This would be -the- perfect transfer imo. A Chelsea player that actually seems like a decent fella. Very underrated (Pedro is ahead of him, which is just baffling). Perfect fit.

If there was any truth in that article it would have been picked up on by now by someone more credible.

Honestly I thought the cat had the credibility scale nailed but not at the moment. Now all of a sudden Custis is gospel and I even saw 'mufcinsider' being posted the other day.

Our business is done.
 
The funniest thing I've seen today was one of the gossip sites saying you'd made a £35m bid. £35m for Willian with 3 years left on his contract? :lol:
 
Neil Custis has made the following transfer claims

Coutinho to Barca done and announcement at 7pm
Mahrez to Chelsea
United bid for Willian

I can see none of this happening.
 
Can't see it happening. Would be a disastrous window for Chelsea and Conte could walk.
