Will Harry Kane ever win a trophy? | No

Not much you can do when Leverkusen have 19 wins and 4 draws from 23 league games. Bayern have scored slightly more goals than them but Leverkusen have only conceded 16 times in those 23 games.

It's like Mourinho's first stint at Chelsea, except the squad was put together for a fraction of the price and the owner is even worse.

11 point gap. Could be over tomorrow if Bayern don't beat Leipzig.
Last results Bayern vs Leipzig:
2-2 (BL)
0-3 (Supercup)
1-3 (BL)
1-1 (BL)

Before those Bayern used to beat Leipzig most of the time, but now they are without a win for quite some time against Leipzig. Could really be decisive tomorrow. If Leipzig wins that will also increase the pressure on Dortmund, as those two battle for 4th and therefore CL qualification. Should be a fun weekend.

It's got me wondering statistically where those figures sit in Bundesliga campaigns? Could they go the season without a loss I guess is the next question.

No Bundesliga team has ever gone unbeaten. Bayern's treble winning team of 2012-2013 have the points record at 91 out of a possible 102 which is pretty insane - P34 W29 D4 L1.

Leverkusen won't break the points record and probably won't go unbeaten but the fact that their season thus far can be compared to Bayern in 12-13, one of the greatest sides of modern times, shows how good they have been. Bayern won the league by 25 points that season, a bigger gap from 1st to 2nd than 2nd to 13th.

Kane really is just very unlucky to have signed for Bayern at a time when somehow Leverkusen are equaling their best ever BL season, with a team of much less renowned players.

Bloody jinxed Bayern, ain't he? They normally romp to a league title.
Either that or Leverkusen made some sort of part with the devil, by now there are no logical explanations left for this season

Surely done and dusted if Leverkusen win this weekend. No way are Bayern making up 10 points in 10 games.

It was done when they smashed us and we then proceeded to lose to Bochum.

If Bayern decide to get rid of him because of the curse, I'd still take him on a 2-year deal as back-up to Højlund.

I swear that Harry Kane is jinxing his team(s) into laying plenty of eggs to solve any shortage of such wherever he will go.

Tbf, they only got over the line last year because Dortmund messed up at home on the final matchday.
But that's kind of the point, isn't it? Last season someone else messed up, this season after Kane arrived they suddenly face their strongest opposition in history.

He will win the plate eventually, how long have Bayern ever gone without winning the league? Probably two or three years maximum. It is funny that they're going trophyless in his first season though.

If he sees out his contract at Bayern until June 2027, there's no way he doesn't win a single title. His curse is clearly strong but not that strong.

Legit shot at Champions League. Legit shot at the Euros as long as Gareth starts Mainoo with Rice and Bellingham.

Na, they lost both the Super Cup and the Cup before Dier arrived. Has to be Kane.

They haven't won the cup since 19-20. Bayern don't need a curse to embarass themselves in that. They were more than capable of losing 5-0 in it without him.

Yes.

He will also have a legit shot at the 2026 World Cup and the next 4 CL seasons including this one.

I don't think the PL record was worth giving up for Bayern's domestic honours, but he does have a number of real chances at the CL and we can't forget the international tournaments either.

And let's be honest. This title is 99% done for Leverkusen, but it will still more than likely be 3 Bundesliga titles in 4 years for Kane, unless he leaves.

He was very poor again, missed some guilt edged chances. I’m sure everyone else will get the blame but him though!

True

But then we can also add their weakest CL group stage in years to Bayern with Kane and without Dier to further prove it's Kane. But probably Dier just made it even worse, after all the real gap in the league seems to be opening only recently, before they were just a bit behind
